Jackson’s Deli is a staple in our household! We run a grooming salon next door and we get their food at least 1-3 times a week! They even catered our babies first birthday party. It’s truly a wonderful feeling going in and talking to them about how they’re doing, how business is, and how things are. They welcomed us to the plaza with open arms. Our favorite meal would have to either be the cheeseburgers or hot dogs! The fried rice and egg rolls are absolutely delicious too.

This was our first visit and we are quite satisfied.

This long-time local deli features a few booths to sit at or you can take it to go. Think cozy, quaint, old-school, hole-in-the-wall, neighborhood deli vibes.

The staff were experienced, friendly, and helpful.

We tried the Gyro and the Italian Grinder. I asked for no peppers and no mustard, and this was not an issue.

The gyro had premium thick flavorful meat (I assume lamb but didn’t ask) with fresh toppings. The grinder was stacked with quality deli meat and bold cheese, the dressing was rich and zesty; in a good way.

We got a side of potato salad which was quite possibly the best potato salad I’ve had in Sierra Vista. My husband also enjoyed it but commented he would have liked a little more of a vinegar taste, I disagree but I also don’t care for things that are too vinegary. The ingredients were tangibly fresh and had a wonderful depth of flavor.

It was a nice touch that they included some potato chips on the side of the grinder.

They have different size options for the subs and they have other meals options as well. They do have beverages but we didn’t try any on this visit. Be sure to bring cash.

The food was messy and delicious and we will most certainly be back.

Yuck! Not sure how this place is rated so high. It smelled great walking in but was very disappointed by the food. My children liked the basic fried rice. As for me I’m from Pennsylvania where cheesesteaks are heaven. The cheesesteak that I was given was so pathetic. I ordered the regular cheesesteak but instead received what looked like chicken? So I called to make sure I wasn’t given a chicken cheesesteak but was told that I got a regular steak. From my understanding a cheesesteak shouldn’t have white meat right!? Needless to say that was my first and last time going there.

chicken and rice tasted like cabbage, rice was cold and also tasted like cabbage …$9
burger was a sad frozen, tasteless and small patty smothered in too many condiments with frozen shoestring fries …$12
save your money, go elsewhere.

I’ve driven by this small strip mall restaurant 100 times. The Owner of great Bodyshop in town suggested I try Jackson’s Cheesesteak and I am so glad I did. Large sandwich with thick slices of beef, added veggies, grilled onions and jalapeños. Finished it off with some fresh homemade potato salad. Best sando I’ve had in quite awhile. Loved it. I’ll be coming back soon.

I had a chicken cheese steak. I’d say it was unique because it wasn’t chopped up like a usual cheese steak. Overall it was good and I felt it was a good value.

Nice little no frills hole in the wall place.

Great food. Lots of variety. Loved the environment, really nostalgic. Don’t change a thing.

Super comfortable and homey feeling. Owner is extremely polite. Servings are very large. You’re definitely getting your moneys worth. I ordered one meal. 3 days later I’m still eating it for dinner.

Best house deli-roll I’ve had. Warm meat, melted cheese, and cold-crispy lettuce and tomatoes on a perfectly toasted hoagy. Their fried rice, beef, chicken, pork, and seafood is excellent. Always a staple for Sierra Vista, and cash only.

Just went for first time. Had fried rice and warm turkey sandwich. We liked both. Quirky little joint with sweet older couple working. Great service. Try it when you don’t want that same old chain…
