One of my favorite places in Rotterdam. I order from here regularly through Thuisbezorgd and the food is always amazing, fresh, flavorful, and consistent every single time.

The portions are generous, the delivery is fast, and everything tastes like it’s made with care. Both the restaurant and the service are excellent. Highly recommended!

The best chicken tikka I ever had. From the Starters (chicken tikka) through the main course (lamb masala) and dessert (khulfi), everything was delicious. Very considerate and kind person el. Family business. Cosy atmosphere with relaxing music. This place is the one to come back to!

The service was good. It took a little time for the food to come out of the kitchen.

The food was good. And the restaurant is decorated nicely.

We’ve been to this Indian restaurant three times already, and we keep coming back because we truly enjoy it. The food is delicious, with an excellent quality-to-price ratio. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, making it a great place to unwind and enjoy a meal. The service is kind, courteous, and attentive. We highly recommend this place and will definitely return again.

Great place! We came with five people and shared several dishes (starter, main and side), all freshly prepared, tasty, and not too spicy. One of us is from India and said everything was perfectly cooked, just like his mother makes at home, so truly authentic. Service was very friendly, even though it was busy and we had to wait a bit. A bit warm inside, but the food and fair prices made it totally worth it.

Order made on Uber eat at 8pm, they accepted the order and they have their own delivery service. The order never arrived. If you hesitate to order somewhere, I recommend to not doing it here, you will just be more hungry.

I was out cycling with my partner and we called 20min before closing time. They were friendly and said we could pass by to pick it up. Staff is friendly and the food was delicious. We ordered vegetarian menu and we ate for 2 days. We planning to pick up food there soon again. Recommended!

As someone who occasionally writes a review whenever I visit an establishment, which is not that often because I don’t really enjoy dining out all that much, I hate coming across a place that I didn’t enjoy. Because that means that I have to write an honest review about it, and I rarely write negative reviews.

The restaurant is small, and I suspect that the waitress serving us, a young woman, was a daughter or granddaughter of the woman who was back in the kitchen preparing the meals. Which makes me feel all the worse about the fact that I didn’t enjoy the food.

Okay, enough build up — here’s the thing. I didn’t like my main course. I had a lentil soup as an appetizer, which was actually quite tasty — but I felt the soup lacked a certain depth of flavor. The naan bread was good, fluffy and crusty on the sides. No issues there. It came with three dipping sauces, which are your typical Indian sauces: chutney, something minty, and something with cucumber (I believe).

When the waitress came to take our order, and when I said I wanted the Paneer Masala, she told me it was somewhat sweet. This wasn’t specifically mentioned on the menu, mind you. I decided to just do it, because I have genuine trouble making choices, but I digress.
The person I was with, my dad, had chicken tikka.

The curry I had was, and I mean it, way too sweet. It tasted as though someone dropped in a large amount of sugar instead of anything else. I’ve never tasted such a sweet curry before, and I’m an avid enjoyer of Indian cuisine (both in the Netherlands and abroad (like in England)). I’ve had this dish before, but never felt as disappointed as I did here. My dad told me he enjoyed his chicken, but when I did a taste test, I noticed how dry the chicken was. Not tender or succulent at all.

I am well aware of the insane inflation, but four euros for a Heineken beer is probably a very high price for one. Take this into account.

The waitress was sweet, and asked us if everything was good. No issues there.

I’m really sorry, but it just wasn’t as good as I hoped after reading the raving reviews.

I hope this helps!
