We generally love coming here for lunch. Generally, don’t have a lot of issues. This or that is out or doesn’t work, it is what it is.
Tonight (Dec 22) we came in for dinner at 6:45pm. Only 2 patrons in the place, no line. We had to wait a minute or two for any employee to come out to greet us. 3 high-school aged kids slumbered out from the back, not real enthused to be here. I asked if they had new black beans, as the container was nearly empty and looked like it was sitting there all day just baking (disgusting). We were told no. They had to bring new rice out. Only two options for meat, chicken or steak, and both looked like they’d been cooked this morning – the steak and chicken looked the same. I asked if they had the new Birria, or Carnitas…nope. The rest of the ingredients (mainly salsas and veggies) looked gross and unappetizing.
If your whole business is built on “fresh,” at least give the perception that your food hasn’t been sitting out all day. If you’re advertising meats/options for ingredients, have them in stock and available. It’s not like we came in right before closing, we came at prime-time dinner timing. We still paid the same cost for half the value.
Just a big let down overall, as Pancheros has the ability to compete with Chipotle..but not with these employees, and this lack of service and quality.

I remembered Pancheros being so good and honestly, it was barely edible. The food looked as if it had been sitting there for hours. For what you pay, you hardly get any food. Two of the three employees weren’t wearing hats or anything to hold their hair back. Hair was hanging in their face and over the food. Next time I pull up to a restaurant on a Friday night at 6 pm and there is not a single person inside, I am taking it as my cue to leave asap! Now we need to decide where we are going for our real dinner.

A little disappointed in service but can understand why it was the way it was. Let me explain.
I had an order for 515, but I got to the store at 500. There was 1 customer besides me in the store and the 2 employees seemed to be on break, or it was slow and they were just hanging out. I explained to the guys working that I had an order but I was there a little early for it I said id hang out and wait until it’s ready. They fixed up an order and handed it to me (even before 515, i was so grateful!!!!), I tried to thank them, but it seemed like I had upset them because they didn’t even say you’re welcome or anything. Kinda just seemed to stare past me. As I was leaving i thoight to myself “I remember working this type of job and feeling inconvenienced during slow periods when a customer would come in…but I would try not to show it).
I got home a short time ago and discovered the order was completely different products, and also for someone else. it’s too cold outside again and im not going back to the store…I didnt care for what appeared to be some attitude that was being thrown my way. I hope the employees working have a good rest of their night despite what felt like a little hiccup. Sorry if I did anything to make your shift worse.

We love coming here! It is always quiet and the staff are very friendly. The only thing is that the chicken is EXTREMELY spicy, which has negatively impacted our experience a couple times. Always sample the chicken before putting in your bowl/burrito!

I ordered delivery this evening. Both of the burritos we received were small and soupy. There was absolutely NO rice in either of them. My son’s chicken quesadilla barely had chicken. For the amount that we paid, and the long wait we had, we expected the food to be better. Huge disappointment. This was the first time we used this location and it will be our last.

My husband and I were on a tight schedule for lunch and went out of our way to stop at this location, expecting a quick and smooth experience. We arrived before opening and waited outside until 10:30, only for the doors to open several minutes late. When we were finally let in, we were told the staff wasn’t even ready for customers and that we’d need to wait another 10–15 minutes before being served. It’s extremely disappointing and unprofessional for a business to not only open late but also be completely unprepared at their posted opening time. We left feeling very let down — this experience showed a clear lack of organization and respect for customers’ time. I definitely would not recommend this location.

This will be the last time we are eating at this Pancheros!
First strike, delivery order, they delivered the wrong order, not completely their fault. But still they could have done better. We had to spend our own time and money to drive there to get the correct order.
Second strike, we decided to give them another chance after a few months, and delivery order again.. Food came cold and rice was uncooked!! It was crunchy and powdery. It was really bad! We called them and they said they will make a new batch of rice but we have to wait another 20-30mins, and then we have to again spend our own money and time, to drive there to pick up the new order. Went there after waiting for 30mins, and it’s still not done! And I have to wait there for another 20mins! By the time we got our food, we ate at 3pm!
3rd strike, again after another few months, thinking that there will be improvements. Giving them another go today, ordered a delivery order. The black beans is not fully cooked, and still a little crunchy. My husband’s order was not made correctly. And the cherry on top of it all, half way through my burrito, I found plastic pieces in it! Yes, PLASTIC pieces!! Are you kidding me? I felt like puking afterward! This is a health hazard! What nonsense is this?!
NO MORE! This was the last straw!!

I have seen a lot of bad reviews for this Pancheros restaurant. Tonight at 5:30pm was my first time to this location. (I have been to other Pancheros.) The restaurant was clean. There were 4 other groups of people there and others getting take out. There were 3 young guys working. They were courtesy and expedited orders. Trevor made what I requested and put a good amount of all toppings. Anthony rang up my order and didn’t nickel and dime me for anything. He actually was very creative in a good way on what to charge me. I had more than enough left to have lunch the next day. Seth kept all offerings replenished and hot, while maintaining sanitary etiquette. I don’t know these young men, but they did a very nice job. Also noted they were NOT on their cell phones while working. I definitely would come back.

Very good servers. The young woman with blonde/colored spiked hair was super friendly and helpful. Fresh tortillas are pretty good, could be a bit thicker or I suppose we could order double next time. I hoped steak was strips but it’s cubes. Chicken looked a little old and sad. Vegetables and fresh diced jalapeño was a nice add, wish they had Cilantro. Not a bad deal if you skip the paid add ons.
