Nestled near the scenic Santa Cruz Mountains, our location inspires both our seasonal cuisine and a curated wine program that celebrates Californian winemakers. Our casual upscale atmosphere blends classy sophistication with a relaxed vibe, perfect for any occasion — whether it’s a cozy dinner with friends or a special family night out. Everything feels super fresh. The beet salad tastes like it was just picked, and the blini are soft and warm, with flavorful onion sour cream and smoky caviar. Really good food done right.
The halibut was one of the standouts, perfectly cooked, with peas, wax beans, fennel, and little pattypan squash that somehow all made sense together. The miso hollandaise pulled it all in without being heavy. Just really well-balanced and thoughtful.
Dessert? Don’t skip it. The cheesecake is creamy, custardy with this nice toasted edge, and when there’s fruit involved, it’s always in season and tastes like it belongs there.
This is the kind of food that makes you feel taken care of – nothing too fancy, just delicious and made with love.
Last night I learned a very important lesson.
Some dinners are too divine for small talk.
Too sacred for gossip.
Too perfect to dilute with words.
We went to Lele Kitchen to experience the magic of the one and only chef Ulad, and honestly, we fell silent the moment the first dish touched the table. And that says a lot because Grrusha and I are usually the kind of girls who can talk through a tornado and still find something to giggle about. But not yesterday. Yesterday we couldn’t ruin the poetry of taste with meaningless chatter.
Ulad is not just a chef. He is a creator. A vessel of something celestial. A man truly touched by God. And the wildest part is that he’s entirely self-taught. No Michelin training, no culinary academies, just pure talent pouring out of him like light.
I’ve been lucky enough to attend his private Savory Talks dinners, where each dish felt like a portal into another world. So when I heard he was launching Lele Kitchen, I was counting the days until I could step into that space and taste whatever his brilliant mind had been dreaming up.
And yesterday… it finally happened.
There is zero doubt in my mind that this restaurant is destined for Michelin stars. Zero doubt that one day reservations will be booked out months ahead. Zero doubt that people will fly across states just to experience this flavor universe he creates.
Because what happens on your tongue at Lele Kitchen is… transcendence.
Hot and cold.
Sweet and tangy.
Creamy and crispy.
Soft and bold.
Textures dancing, flavors colliding, and your whole body just melting into this sensory bliss.
It is, quite literally, an oral orgasm.
I would live next door to this restaurant if I could. Visit every day or at least every week. Because it’s not just food. It’s a full-body aesthetic experience. Everything organic. Everything sourced from small farmers. Everything chosen with love, intention, and a kind of emotional precision that feels rare in this world.
And if you’re from Eastern Europe, brace yourself.
This place will teleport you straight into childhood.
Crispy draniki.
Red caviar.
Bashkir honey.
Pollen.
Tiny fir-cone preserves.
Those nostalgic, quirky flavors that hit you like a memory you didn’t know you were missing.
You don’t talk through a dinner like this.
You surrender to it.
So here it is.
My love letter to chef Ulad, a man so gifted it feels almost unfair how talented he is. If there is such a thing as divine culinary energy, he channels it.
Lele Kitchen is not a restaurant.
It’s a revelation.
And you must go.
I brought my mom to Lele Kitchen – she is visiting from Eastern Europe. She loved it!
We started with oysters – fresh and creamy! Salads were beautifully presented and very yummy. While the draniki (hand grated potato pancakes) is chef’s signature dish, the soup stole the show. Sorrel and potato soup was so comforting, playful, and flavorful, that I am still thinking about it.
You can tell the chef and the team care deeply about quality of food.
Cozy space, good service, and a creative menu that’s unlike anything else in the area. Highly recommend for a special night out or a thoughtful dinner any day.
We opted for the wine pairing, which was thoughtfully curated and complemented the meal perfectly. The staff was gracious, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience. I haven’t visited their sister bakery next door yet, but after this meal, I’ll definitely be stopping by soon to try some of their pastries.

We had the absolute pleasure of experiencing the six-course tasting menu at lelé collaboration with Birichino, and every moment of the evening felt like a beautifully orchestrated story told through food and wine.
The journey began with Steamboat Oysters paired with a vibrant 2022 Sémillon from Yount Mill Vineyard. The interplay of blueberry and earl grey tea granita elevated the oysters into something unexpectedly ethereal.
Next, the Shapes of Delta Asparagus brought a burst of spring to the table, complemented by a bright 2023 Vermentino. The sheep brynza and orange accents added richness and zest, balancing the dish perfectly.
The Dranik course was a standout — smoky, creamy, and herbaceous — especially paired with a 2023 skin-contact Malvasia Bianca that echoed the dish’s complexity.
The Rabbit “Golubets” (rabbit wrapped in tender layers and served with a luxurious caviar beurre blanc) showcased incredible technique and depth of flavor, harmonizing seamlessly with a bright Cinsault from Mokelumne River.
For the main course, the Creekstone Striploin arrived flawlessly cooked and paired with a lively 2023 Grenache. The carrot, rhubarb slaw, and tarkhun-mustard accents created a masterclass in balancing savory and tangy elements.
Finally, the Lemon “Cake” — WOW!!!! It was the perfect endnote — tarragon, shortbread cookies, and olives surprising the palate with each bite, while a playful 2022 Pétulant Naturel Malvasia rounded out the meal with a light, slightly effervescent touch.
Every course was thoughtful, innovative, and impeccably executed. The wine pairings enhanced each dish without overpowering, showing a careful hand in curation. lelé kitchen and Birichino truly created a night to remember.
I cannot wait to return and bring our whole team here
