We stumbled upon this little gem a few years ago when on a spur of the moment lunch date. We ended up befriending the charming chef. She has since catered several of our events. She has always delivered what she has promised. We love her take on high-end Indian cuisine. She always surprises us with unique flavor combinations. She takes us on a culinary journey regardless of the scale- from an intimate date to a 100-people event. She has been consistent in the quality that she delivers while keeping her menu fresh and adventurous. We are addicted. And will remain loyal customers. We look forward to our next event that we hope she will cater for us again.

I read about this new restaurant in the Enquirer and was anxious to eat at this little place in Old Mason. It was so lovely to have chef Addy be so present in the meal experience. Her place only seats about 14 or so people so when we got there for lunch on a Thursday, we had to wait outside about 5 minutes for a table. The menu is whatever she decides to make that week and is about 4 or 5 items. We ordered one of everything to share (except dessert). Everything was great. The chicken in the Tikka Masala was tender and the lentils in the Dahl were great. I forget the names of the other two dishes, but they were good too. She was so friendly and stopped to talk with us during and at the end of our meal. We love supporting places like this!

It’s a small hole in the wall place. I would highly encourage you to call before you visit this restaurant. Let me tell you the food was amazing. One of the best chicken tikka masala I have had in the US. The butter chicken was also very good. We tried the golguppa and it was excellent. Overall an excellent meal.

If you’re looking for authentic and unique Indian food, this place will never disappoint. I have catered from My Kolorful Kitchen on multiple special occasions including my baby shower and my daughter’s first birthday party for 50+ people. I keep coming back to them for various reasons – their unique menu items, their flavorful preparations and Aparna’s (the owner and chef) attention to detail while planning the catering order. I trust her suggestions and have never been disappointed. Each time, everyone has loved her food unanimously. For one occasion I went with a traditional Indian menu – changezi paneer, beetroot kofta, kale dal, Gobi Manchurian, achari cutlet. For the other, I opted for an Indo Chinese menu – veg hakka noodles, fried rice, chili chicken, veg manchurian along with beetroot cheese cutlets and chicken chapli kabab. I can safely say every item was delicious and very well prepared.

Definitely my go to place for Indian food catering!

I believe this is my first review I’ve ever written. I was working from home this week because my wife is traveling. I decided to try some place new and this has been on my list for a while now, along with a few other new Mason restaurants.

What a hit – I got the Chicken Punjabi…I don’t mean to sound out of touch but I don’t even know what Chicken Punjabi is! Still, it was the best Indian food i’ve ever had! I am used to getting Chicken Tikka Masala & butter chicken like a typical American…but never again! I will be back to expand my palate!

I reached out to 2 random people other than my wife today to tell them about this incredible Indian food I had.

They make 2 dishes minimum at the start of every day; 1 meat dish and 1 veggie dish. They post their menu for the week at the start of the week on their website and facebook page which made it easy to plan which day i’d grab lunch. I highly recommend it – I can’t wait to show up for dinner!

***I almost forgot…the most pleasant part of my experience was how quick the service was. It took me longer to turn across traffic on 42 and park my car than it did to get inside, order, pay, and walk back out to my car.

This isn’t your average Indian restaurant. The menu is a daily adventure through the different regions of India, so you’ll never get bored. The owner, Appy, is fantastic and makes the experience even better.

Sometimes words can’t describe. Though I will say this place and food “marvelous” and just delicious. Authentic, homemade style food served by the most hospitable owner, Appy. Love this place and will be a repeat customer for life! Wish you all the best and hope you continue to grow your business!

Ps @P Khanna In order to rate the food quality and taste, you need to have appreciation for authenticity. I would challenge your criticism if you can find other restaurants with similar style in Ohio.

This tiny humble bistro secretly houses some of the best Indian cooking and food you will ever get to experience. I eat A LOT of Indian food out and there’s an understanding of what “restaurant Indian” cuisine is (which I still love), but what one gets here has a true homemade touch to it.

My Kolorful Kitchen rotates 2 unique dishes a day on a dynamically creative week-to-week schedule. 1 veg and 1 meat item, with additional bulk specialties for pre-order. While this simplicity streamlines the backend efforts of a remarkably overachieving 2-3 person staff, it also allows for uniqueness, phenomenal flavors, never-ending discovery, and as the name hints at, the most exquisite of colors.

Good luck trying to find dishes like chicken tikka burgers, gobi Manchurian on scallion fried rice, or a crowd favorite, the smoked butter chicken (pictured). You simply will not and cannot. Aparna Thukral is the master mind/chef behind this culinary gem. Beyond her wonderful talents she is incredibly sweet and personable to engage with, always visible, and is simply a gifted resident with a passion for cooking who realized a supreme vision. 5 stars for My Kolorful Kitchen. Absolutely check it out!

We catered food twice from My Kolorful Kitchen. We had a diverse and around 20 people each time. The owner is reliable, talented and a passionate chef herself. She helped me plan the menu and educated me on the portions. Her food was unanimously appreciated as delicious, authentic and unique. On my request, the owner was willing to try new cuisine which she had not done for a large crowed. She also spoilt us with her tried and tested amazing dishes.
In all a memorable and amazing dining experience each time.
