Nice addition to the neighborhood. The escargot was just ok- just missing something. The frois gras was excellent. The duck was excellent but the wild rice was undercooked. The filet poivre was cooked just right but the sauce was missing something as well. The angus burger was perfect! All the food was prepared very well but the sauces were weak/little flavor. I think if the sauces were improved this place would be magnificent. I would definitely come back again. The martini was very well made too.

Where to start..place is lovely, but it was playing country music which would be fine if it wasn’t called “french”, just weird! Had mussel appetizer, chicken franchaise bf had shrimp and scallop risotto. Food was ok nothing bad but far from great. Place was EMPTY 4 tables at 8 p.m. on a Saturday evening. Service was pleasant but pretty inattentive, didnt ask if we needed more drinks, checked on the meal after we were done eating. Not sure if they will make it. Karoeke was starting when we were leaving , we didnt stay..

This is a huge restaurant with bar on one side and dining area on the other side. When I walked in, there were no customers except for the servers and I was so ready to leave. When there is no customer at a restaurant then there must be a problem with their food or service. The server came over and took us to a table. It was like the most awkward moment because we were the only one there. It seems like the service was not the issue. Maybe the food? I ordered the salmon with green bean and smashed potatoes. The salmon looked good so I took a bite and it wasn’t bad at all. The salmon was very tender and not overly cooked. It just needed some more spices then it will be prefect. The bean was good with buttery taste but the smashed potatoes was not my favorite. The portion was huge and it was fulfilling. It doesn’t seem like either the service or the food was the problem.
After finishing the wonderful meal, I wondered why there were nobody eating here so I asked one of the manager(forgot her name). She said they are still doing the soft opening and not ready to officially open because they were waiting for their liquor license and that is why the bar is close. When the bar open, it should be a prefect place to socialize or watch sport because it has a huge space. It seems like next time I return, it should be different(meaning better). Luckily, I still tried it without walking out the door. Next time I will be back and order some cocktails.

My wife and I have been there twice for drinks and an appetizer – the mussels, which were very good. Our first visit was before Labor Day and the bartender was terrific. Great drinks! Our last visit there weren’t many people there and had a new bartender just learning. Hopefully they’ll get it together because the space is very nice.

I went tonight with my wife to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The place was empty when we got there so everything came quickly. The French onion soup was amazing! My wife had the rigatoni and loved it. I had the strip steak and it was fantastic. Some might say it is ignorant, but I have eaten at the good local steak houses. This steak was on par with those. It was cooked perfectly and had such an amazing flavor it didn’t need any steak sauce. Lastly we had chocolate cake and cheese cake. Both were great! I just wished chocolate mousse was a dessert option. Maybe in the future.

As soon as we walked in the maitre’d greeted us warmly and offered to hang up our coats. This set the tone for our wonderful diner at Wayne’s. We enjoyed terrific food with great friendly service. I had the fish/muscle soup special with tons of clam bellies which was so good and flavorful. My wife had the French onion soup which she loved. I thoroughly enjoyed the short ribs special for my main course. It was tender, flavorful with very limited fat. Incredibly delicious. My wife’s ducked was cooked perfectly and tasted great. My only complaint was that we did not have room dessert. We found the restaurant reasonably priced for the quality of the food and service we received. Reservations are honored, and tables are not right on top of each other so you can carry on conversations without having to scream as is the case at too many restaurants. There is a $30.00 PP price fixe for arrivals by 7:00pm which includes soup or salad, main course and coffee, which was a real bargain. THIS RESTAURANT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Price fixe or not!!!!!

Our waiter Chris was charming, attentive and knowledgeable. We also pulled Chef Wen out of the kitchen to thank him for a delicious meal.
Crab Cakes, Escargot with white Beans, Grilled Tuna with vegetables and the Bar steak were all cooked to perfection.
Topped off with the Cranberry Bread pudding it was a gastronomic feast. Coming back soon with a party of 10.

Awesome Restaurant! Carlos and the rest of the servers were really great and the food was phenomenal! I had the skirt steak which was delicious and my wife had the shrimp/scallop risotto which was out of this world! Wayne is a definitely one of the best restaurants in the area. We’ll be back to enjoy more of the menu!
