Right across from the hospital, you’re going to see this small restaurant. Don’t let the size fool you. The food in here packs a punch of flavor. My impression of this place as soon as I walked in is that of a restaurant run by family. The menu isn’t complicated. They have pictures to better illustrate the menu. The selection here will make you wonder which one to try. I can tell you my food was delicious. If you’re near the area and want to try good food. Make your way here. The tables and chairs were all clean. The atmosphere here is that of the happiness of customers and employees.

I’ve always passed by this Taco Shop on 38th St. and I have wanted to try it for the longest time. Well, I finally got my chance, and boy, oh boy, it did NOT disappoint me. When I walked in the front door, I could instantly smell the aroma of the food. I ordered three carne asada tacos without onions ( me, personally have never liked onions but to each their own lol) and two cans of Pepsi. I would say I was there about 10 minutes while my food was being cooked. When I got my food I was so happy. The smell was amazing, the tacos were stuffed full of meat, and it was definitely hot because you could see the steam rising from the tacos. They gave me red and green taco sauce. Some of the best taco sauces I’ve had in a while. I ate two tacos before I told myself to take a picture of the last taco lbvs. The tacos were delicious. They do have a decent sized menu. Sopes, Tortas, Burritos, Tacos, and so much more. I really wish they had to go menus. I didn’t take pictures of the menu but I will the next time I go. I will definitely be back soon.

It’s a real Mexican restaurant ran by Mexicans not some chain Mexican Restaurant spot , so don’t expect fake (chain Mexican food items). I frequent this place a lot. Great food even though mama is stingy with the sauces

Went here one Friday and now I am a fan. I was able to get my boyfriend a torta cubana finally, they also had the whole fried fish that we love. I also got Tacos the tripa was amazing and crispy it tasted like bacon. There was a slight language barrier but i was able to make it through. My large order was correct and everything was delicious. Im so happy I stumbled upon this place. I cannot wait to go back

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT order chips and queso if you are looking for what you normally get at Mexican spots other than Taco Bell. She did say it wasn’t white cheese. I would have been fine if that was the only difference. The chips are the same ones you get at a gas station, sporting event, or bowling alley. I never waste food but I threw it away without finishing it. Truly a disappointment.

The tacos are excellent. We live 2 blocks away so this is our go to for when the taco craving kicks in. The quesabirrias are delicious, stuffed with meat and the consome has very good flavor as well. I also enjoy the tacos de lengua. We always get the tacos to go just because we live so close by. The restaurant itself is a bit shabby but clean otherwise. Highly recommend this taqueria!!
