Called the shop directly and guy who answered was great! Well done pie 1/2 pepperoni! Perfect! Really enjoyed the sauce and cheese. Delivered to the West End to enjoy a tasty concert on the beach with a tasty pizza! My first time ordering and will be my go to when in town. Thanks!

GiGi’s New York Style Pizzeria & Restaurant is a great place to grab a quick meal or in our case, a leisurely meal for 10 people. My husband, son, and I, along with seven of my son’s friends (a fine group of Monmouth University students/alumni) were going to attend an Easter Vigil mass at St. Michael’s. My son suggested GiGi’s, and I’m glad he did.
I called ahead for a 6pm reservation, and Gerrero happily took care of it. When my group arrived, Brandon, our server, and Tommy, the owner, gave us a warm, friendly welcome!
GiGi’s has a very extensive menu: appetizers, soup & salad, pasta, entrees, pizza (thin crust, specialty round, gourmet, Brooklyn, Specialty Thin Squares, Stuffed, New Haven, Pan, Brazilian Style, Bar Pies), Italian Specialties (calzone, stuffed rolls, pinwheels), Semolina sandwiches, Cheesesteaks, Panini’s & Melts, Burgers & Hotdogs, Wraps, Club Sandwiches, Chubbzie Wubbzie’s, Dessert, AND Breakfast items! They also have a Kid’s Menu.
We ordered the following and eagerly awaited the arrival.
– Gigi’s Salad (arugula, roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, balsamic glaze) $17
– Sunday Sauce (beef ribs, sweet sausage, meatball, grandma’s slow cooked gravy, fresh mozzarella ball, cavatelli) $26
– Di Fara Style, a gourmet round pizza with D.O.P tomatoes, mozzarella, pecorino, EVOO & fresh basil, $21
– Meat Lovers, a classic specialty round pizza (mozzarella, pepperoni, meatballs, sausage, ham, bacon) $23
– Nicky’s Sausage Cup Vo-D-Ka Brooklyn Style Pizza, Thick & Crispy Specialty Squares (topped with imported cup & char sausage, fresh mozzarella, vodka sauce, mozzarella sticks, sesame crust) $27
Our choices were all delicious! The GiGi salad was fresh and tasty. The variety of pizzas gave us a great sampling of what the restaurant has to offer. Giovanni, my son, said his favorite was the Nicky’s Sausage Cup Vo-D-Ka. There was a lot there, but it all came together well. The Sunday Sauce was hearty, and the gravy was well balanced. I’m sure it’s a labor of love.
Brandon was friendly and attentive. I complimented Tommy on his comebacks to bad reviews. He’s funny and quite gracious!
Our group was well fed and very satisfied.
Looking forward to trying other items on the menu and having some of our new favorites as well. Thank you to Tommy and his staff for setting the tone for a joyous celebration of Easter!

I ordered from Gigi NY Style Pizza and tried the Grandma slice, a plain slice, and a cannoli. Unfortunately, the food arrived cold, which significantly impacted my experience. The pizza was average—not bad, but nothing remarkable either. The Grandma slice had decent flavor, but overall, the meal lacked freshness and satisfaction. The cannoli looked appealing but didn’t have a standout taste. Overall, I wouldn’t choose to try it again.

Gigi’s is an absolute gem! We had my son’s baseball team end-of-year celebration here, and they could not have been more accommodating. We had a whole crew of loud, excited kids and the staff handled it with so much patience and kindness. The service was quick, the food was delicious and they made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming. We’re so grateful for how they took care of us. Perfect place for family gatherings and team celebrations — highly recommend!

I’m not the one to write bad reviews but be very specific about how u order your pizza. I’ve had the drunken grandma pizza before and I ordered it again tonight and there was way too much sauce, and it salty too salty. I called the restaurant and they said “that’s how they make it every day”. Here’s a tip: work on your consistency, now I feel wary about ordering pizza from here again

I’m not one to give a bad review but when something is terrible I have to review it. The pizza crust was really soggy and the peppers and onions looked like they been sitting on that pizza cooked all day. The peppers and onions had absolutely no taste to them and almost translucent. The garlic knots were drenched in oil so badly and just could not eat any of them at all. Might as well call them oil knots. I really don’t see why the high score for this place. Totally disgusting and can’t even eat it. Real pizza to me are places like Enzo’s, the Sauce, Olivia’s, and Fredericos if you want good pizza. Just wasted. $38. Way over priced and can’t even eat it. So disappointed.
Update: I don’t use Google to make me a pizza. I just use Google to find a better place. I’m good though. Thank you for the offer. ✌️

Came to Gigi’s after a 95° day at the beach, and food and service were great. Fay made sure we were enjoying our food (and kept bringing us iced water because we were melting before we walked in). Good selection of specialty pizza (BBQ, General Tso’s, Buffalo Chicken, etc.) and the eggplant rigatoni was amaaaaazing. Next shore day we know where we’re coming for dinner.

Gigi’s is a gem. Whether you’re grabbing a quick slice or sitting down for a full pie, everything hits. Crispy crust, perfect sauce to cheese ratio, and you can taste the quality in every bite.
The vibe is laid back, the staff is friendly, and it just feels like one of those spots you want to keep coming back to. Simple, consistent, and always satisfying.
