I wanted some carne asada fries and I noticed they opened the new Santiago location. It is the small building that used to be a Wienerschnitzel. I did go pretty late at night….past 9 p.m. The lady working the drive thru at night was nice and delivered excellent customer service. I thought the carne asada fries were good but not the best I ever had. They are similar to Los Alazanes’ asada fries but I think Santiago’s Carne Asada fries are still better. Would much rather go here than Los Alazanes where the food is good and you actually get great customer service unlike the bitter women working late at night at Los Alazanes. The lady even offered me salsa without me having to ask and I would have forgotten to ask too! I can definitely see myself coming back for some late night asada fries that I can enjoy at home while I watch Netflix, HBO Max or something.

Our experience at Santiago’s Taco Shop #3 was great! The carnitas were delicious, and the service was quick and friendly. We had lunch and chose to dine in. Would definitely recommend!

The quality of the food is better for fast mexican food. The meats good not chopped into tiny pieces. The quesadilla has a decent amount of meat. cheese is melted well some places rush the quesadillas and don’t let all the cheese melt. The nachos are good they have good tortilla chips just don’t like that they don’t come with beans which makes the nachos really dry to eat i recommend adding beans its 1.50. I recommend to check your food they can get your order wrong make you waist time and drive back. Salsas are good red has good flavor. Small spot but big on food, beauful colors, and customer service! Food was cooked fast and it was so good! Flavor on top of flavor! I had carne asada fries and the meat was tender and flavorful. The french fries had lots of flacor to themselves which added to the flavor profile. Definitely coming back. The guy who took our order also cooked the food and he was so nice and friendly!

We went through the drive thru and they added a 15% tip charge without telling us then said they don’t know how that happened. So just pay attention to your receipt.
We don’t mind tipping but do not like it being forced and snuck in without notice.
Order was simple and it was a drive thru order not dine-in.
They did not say anything about mandatory gratuity or mandatory tips, which by law has to be clearly disclosed, they snuck it in without informing us.
(California law (SB 478) now requires that mandatory gratuities, service charges, and other extra fees must be included in the advertised price)

Ordered via door dash. Rolled tacos were dry and as hard as a rock. The beef tacos were missing the sides of beans and rice. The soft chicken tacos were bland and messy. Also they don’t have guacamole, it’s some sort of guacamole sauce. Not worth the $5 I paid for it as a side. Will never order from this place again. Worst meal ever.

I ordered a chimichanga the tortilla wasn’t fried enough and I only got about three bites of shredded beef for 15.00. the flavor was very good .

I got the menudo and its really good, unfortunately, my partner said that the taco meat was so dry and didn’t really tasted good to the point he wanted to return it. I hope they do better!

Great food. Friendly staff. Very clean restaurant with decent seating. They offer self serve salsas that are really tasty. Portions are pretty good. I bought the 1lb Asada burrito. It was very good and filling. It includes potatoes in it, which I was not expecting. I also bought an Pastor taco that was really early good. Prices are very reasonable. The aguas frescas are very refreshing. Parking is right in front and decent. A few homeless people roaming around so stay guard. Over all in general, it’s a nice place for dinner. Freeway is really close.
