Oh my god do not eat here!! There was a bug in the drink, tables and floor were sticky, service was terrible. We waited 45 minutes for appetizers, and an hour for food, even though there was only 3 other tables eating. They didn’t send out the correct meal that I ordered, and I had to ask for them to take down the price of the meal. When I informed the server of the bug in the drink, I asked if she wanted to see it, and she goes “I believe you”, yikes. The soy sauce tasted like rubbing alcohol. Do not eat here.

Stopped in for take out today. Only took 15 minutes, food was still hot when I got home 30 miles away, friendly staff, and the food was AMAZING! The chicken tempura was delicious and the steak/chicken hibachi was as well with very large portions!

Absolutely horrible experience! We ordered sushi to go. When we called they gave us a 20 minute wait that turned into 45. The service was awful after sitting there for 20 minutes watching the waitress walk past rolling her eyes multiple times, we finally got some service which was without any effort to please the customer. The sushi rice tasted purely like vinegar it was so bad that after one bite we wanted to puke! A complete waste of time and money! We will never return back.

We used to love this place when it was a food truck and when it first opened as a restaurant but the food quality and service have gone down hill. It must depend on the chef that day because sometimes the food is good but the ingredient quality is lacking. There are also times the chef doesn’t know the difference between panko bread crumbs and a tempura batter which are staples in Japanese fried food.

We came here a few times when they first opened and it was good. But suddenly it was like they stopped caring at all about the quality of the food. The sushi was warm and had a horrible smell, the wait was insane, and the hibachi mostly rice with no meat or veggies. I really like to support local places but I really cant go back here. Take the drive and just head up to Hinodes in springfield!

I don’t like leaving bad reviews…but this place was just really bad. I really wish I hadn’t looked at the overall score and looked at recent reviews. I did not try the main menu, only the sushi, but the sushi was sketchy to say the least. I hope they turn things around because thr kids working there were nice and the place clearly used to get good reviews.

My wife loves their sushi. She says it is the best and freshest she has ever had. Given she has tried sushi at almost every place in the 417 area code that offers it, this is very high praise. My kids enjoy their chicken hibachi lunch special (very reasonable at $5.99). Their staff is amazing with special recognition to their sushi chef. Whenever I want to do something special for my wife, I get her some sushi rolls from Hasimi. Be sure to check their Facebook page for any specials each day (they had an amazing sushi platter on Halloween that my kids really enjoyed also).

The only good thing is the noodles. The sushi was poorly wrapped and it took forever for the food to come when we were the only ones dining in. The guy must have overcharged us cause when we added everything up off the menu the price was much less than what he charged us. Wouldn’t recommend.

First time we ordered from here it was great, since then flavor has gone down and portions have gotten smaller. Was our favorite place in aurora to eat, at the prices and portions my wife and I will start going back to hinode in Springfield where you get what you pay for. Got the steak chicken and shrimp combo tonight 1-18-20. Have 7 pieces of steak 9 small pieces of chicken and 3 pieces of shrimp. Combo came with 1 piece of broccoli and a half serve of rice. We won’t be back to this location. Wish they had stayed as good as the first time.
