Let me start by saying that I got this order through Uber delivery. First, they did not give me mashed potatoes and gravy but gave me potato salad, which I tried and don’t like, because I don’t like potato salad by just any old body. They’re potatoes are too hard and it’s too much mayonnaise in it. The green beans could stand some seasoning. I must say that the ribs, brisket and chicken we’re done well and they were good even without the sauce. The sauce was okay. I don’t know what this bread is, but I thought it was supposed to be garlic bread instead it’s just an untoasted piece of bread with a spray of butter on it. Very disappointed for my first try of barbecue in Texas probably won’t order from here again, although the meat itself is good and gets all 3 points, I ordered for the whole dinner experience. I hope there are better restaurants that serve barbecue here in Sulphur Springs.

I had the 3 rib combo. Potato salad and baked beans. The ribs were tiny, dry, and chewy. The potato salad was ok, and the beans were good. They didn’t have sweet tea. What bbq joint doesn’t have sweet tea!?! The dining room was lit by the lights coming in from the store part of the building. It was dark. Cost me $20. Not worth the money, left hungry. Also, the man at the counter barely spoke English. NO-ONE else in the place. Disappointing.

The food was horrible, we live 20 min outside of town and to get home and realize you have food that isn’t even edible sucks. We ordered two meals with brisket and got nothing but fat, not one piece of brisket was solid. The tea taste old and inside the restaurant looks abandoned and uninviting. We wont be going back.

Would absolutely give zero stars if I could. Food was barely edible, no sweet tea, bugs coming out of the fountain drinks and ice maker, they told us to grab 20ozs from the coolers instead, okay fine. Then proceeded to get our order wrong twice and shut the lights off on us while we were eating and practically silently kick us out. On our way out of state and stopped to eat with 5 adults and 4 kids, spent almost $100 to be completely disappointed and disgusted. Men were rude and when trying to purchase 3× little stuffed animals all tagged at $2.99 each, we were charged $20 in total. I brought it up and the guy just walked away. Absolutely ridiculous and a shame to the name of dickeys. Place needs to be shut down.

This store is disgusting. I cant believe they sell food out of here. The pictures speak for themselves.

If barbecue were a rodeo, Dickey’s would be ridin’ bulls with one hand and wavin’ a sausage in the other – bold, a little reckless, and unforgettable.

Walked up and the guy behind the counter… acts as if he’s not wanting to work today. My husband asks about the sides and the guy informs him they are listed on the screen (that’s fair, right) but the moment he asks for green beans (which is on the screen) the guy tells him they don’t have that side here. WHAT?!? Ok…. I order turkey as one of my meats…. guess what…. it’s on the screen but they don’t have that meat but they have chicken. SERIOUSLY?!
If anyone tells you the potato salad is terrible…. LISTEN TO THEM. The mac-n-cheese was thick and dry. The meat was good. The slaw was really good. I love a good slaw.
No one was there to dine-in when we got there or the entire time we were there and not one employee thought to come clean the tables or floor.
This place is nothing to write home to mama about. But I guess when you’re hungry it will do.
