Omg! This place is what TEXAS BBQ is about! I had the 3 meat plate. I struggled to hold the rib for a picture because they were literally fall off the bone tender!! My friend and I both enjoyed the brisket and sausage too! The beans are amazing… something between baked beans and chili beans. Jimmies wife makes the sides fresh. This place is definitely worth writing home about!!

What a cool place 10 minutes from the terminals at IAH. This is down home East Texas style BBQ. She prepares all the sides on site. He smokes all meats right here. They were a BBQ cook-off team prior to opening this spot 16 years ago in 2002. They are delightful and entertaining couple. If you’re lucky you’ll get to have an enjoyable conversation. I recommend this spot especially if you have a layover or if you need a bite before your flight. See pics for prices. BTW, if was 51F when we were there so easy to get a table.

I have to give a shout out and props to Jimee’s Bar-b-q. If you are near the Houston Airport and need lunch, the place is right there. You would not have a better barbecue meal than what you would find at Jimee’s. Guarantee. You can easily see how Jimmy has won several cook-outs with his work.

Saucy. Both brisket and ribs were in different sauces, both tender. The sauce over powered any smoke flavors in the brisket, but the ribs were flavorful.

This was the best Texas bbq experience ever. Jimee guided me through this by suggesting the 3 meats: brisket, sausage and ribs. I had macaroni & beans as sides. You can just tell that everything is made with love. He is genuinely interested in his visitors and likes to talk and get to know you. I cannot thank you enough!

I’ve been here a few times and their food is always top notch and on point. I’ve eaten lots of BBQ from a lot of places around Houston, around Texas, and around the country and in all honesty, Jimee’s hands down is amazing! You can sum it up like this: Simple, delicious, tender, homemade, old school, traditional BBQ. PERIOD. With that being said, you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu! I highly recommend Jimee’s to everyone I know… The large franchise chains cannot come to close to them on anything….I can’t wait to get back on that side of town so I can drop in…. Again!

First time visit today after years of driving by. BBQ sliced beef was awesome and plentiful. I got there about 130pm and cole slaw was gone so I just had beans which were great as well. Jimmy and Mary treat you as family and it was fun to hear some stories. Nice couple with a wealth of BBQ knowledge and history.
