Selected this pizza shop via google reviews as we aren’t from the area. Got a basic cheese pizza & once cutting the slices I noticed a black hair on my finger, upon further investigation the slice I was putting on a plate had a GIANT black hair strewn through, baked into the pie. I never even saw the end of the hair it was so long.
I called the shop & was offered a new pie, I explained I was so disgusted I just wanted the money back in which they agreed.
When my partner (who was with me & ordered & paid initially) brought the pizza back in, he was greeted with horrendous attitude & told he was “rude” even though we were the ones completely disgusted? Telling him to get out.
So. Zero stars for food AND customer service. Worst experience I’ve ever had trying to get a plain cheese pizza. GROSS!!!!

Coming up from Brooklyn to visit family, I stopped in to get some Greek salads. And to see why they have 4.5 stars… Salad was nice with PLENTY of those deliciously briny kalamata olives…
I also left with escarole soup, and Italian icees as well. As cliche as it sounds, the soup tasted homemade, like my grandma’s…really tasted so good and hearty…A proper chicken tasting soup… Hard to explain nowadays that most things are processed… Must try it…
Came back for the pizza and my son loved it. Basically it’s two slices… Big!… Great cheessines and crust. The tirramisu was light and just right… Also had a turkey and ham and cheese sub… It was big! And tasty…
We passed by a few times visiting, but so glad we didn’t this time… I used to buy baseball cards here when I was ten years old when it was Matt’s… Times have changed… Thankfully in a tasty way! Staff is very friendly as well… I wish I could take this place back to Brooklyn with us…

Best steak and cheese you can get! Small is bigger than most large anywhere else. Pizza is great too. Got a slice if cheese to with my sub. It was a meal on its own. Great spot. Highly recommend stopping in.

Took home stuffed peppers for dinner (I didn’t want to cook) from tin to oven 20 minutes later… they were DELICIOUS!!! My picky 15 year old loved them and even said when he goes off to college he needs to know how to make them lol.
Forgot to take a picture but portion was huge! Can’t wait to try their other take home meals.

I got a small chicken cutlet. This is a large anywhere else. Cutlets were perfectly cooked and tender. Perfect amount of sauce and cheese on fresh bread. Delicious.

LoConte’s is the best for pizza and subs!! They give very generous portions and food is delicious! Plus they make amazing cheesecake slices! Try out the oreo, it’s amazing!

This is a fantastic sub and pizza! They also offer fresh, made to order salads as well as pre-made italian main entrees which you can take home to reheat. Wonderful staff who are friendly and welcoming! A true gem!

Fantastic pizza. You can tell there was a lot of thought,heart and effort into making it how it is. Best pizza in 20 mile radius that I know of for I go around to many places to see what’s up. When you want pizza and want to feel rich this is the place. Great food. You can definitely know who stretches the pizza right , some handle the pizza the best like the owner for example, consistent. Lives up to the New York slice and the quality and texture and flavor is on point. Fantastic cheese. Hope their business continues to thrive and stick around forever.
