Came here after church for brunch since everywhere else was packed, and I’m so glad we did. I believe the owner personally made space for our family, which meant a lot. Everyone was so attentive, and the ladies treated us like we were at home.
The music felt very cultural—like eating at a true Mexican spot—and the vibes were low-key and welcoming. Prices were very reasonable. The barbacoa was amazing, 10/10 recommend.
They even made a modified baby plate for my 1-year-old (huevito and beans!), which we absolutely loved. We’ll definitely be coming back. Keep it up, guys

Met my expectations on every level! Clean bathroom, great service and tasty food. Food came out immediately and it was hot! You can’t ask for better service than that! The burrito I got left my palate satisfied to the max! I look forward to returning here again for more delicious food.

Their barbacoa is not the best, but it works. We visited on Mother’s Day and they give my mom a free breakfast. Which was really nice of them

Excellent food by an excellent host. Jaime (the owner) greeted us and took us to a table. He sat with us and talked about the history of the restaurant and his experience of getting technical assistance from Project Vida.

Truly, very kind and excellent service, but the food and its presentation was not as expected, or as seen in a lot of the images online. Plastic plates or square aluminum sheets instead of clay decorative plates. Not to mislead, the people seem to really care, and really follow through, and also pretty good coffee. In all, good place for a quick lunch. But it just wasn’t as expected for a Saturday outing. Wishing them much success in the future.

Not many people can even find this little hole in the wall, but if you do… you will be amazed and taken aback. I totally forgot to take pictures, in order to share this little place with you.
There’s only four parking spots, so be prepared to walk a little, this restaurant is like eating at “grandma’s”. That’s exactly how I felt, homemade everything. The Best of Life.

Our family is originally from El Paso. We had the opportunity to visit last weekend and wanted to enjoy the tastes from home. This place didn’t disappoint. By far the best Mexican restaurant food I’ve ever had. The barbacoa was out of this world, and some how the service was even better. I wish I could give them 10/5.

What wonderful little spot for breakfast if you want barbacoa made and served like you were across the border. The food and service was excellent and the coffee with a little cinnamon was tasty and I couldn’t stop drinking it. We highly recommend and will definitely be back for more!
