After a year of avoiding gluten, I finally let myself enjoy everything Meryl Bakery has to offer—and wow, what a way to come back! Every bite was absolute perfection. The croissants were so buttery and flaky, the pastries were rich and flavorful, and honestly, I just couldn’t stop smiling the entire time.
You can tell how much love and skill goes into everything they make. The staff is super friendly, the space is cozy, and the whole experience just felt special. If I’m going to be eating gluten again, this is exactly how I want to do it. I’ll definitely be back (probably way too often).

Light as a feather, flakey, made with real butter and love…. Beautiful croissants! Hot cross buns the best I’ve ever had and the baguettes are just like those in Europe! It’s a good thing I don’t live across the street!!

Meryl is incredible! The croissants are excellent. The sandwiches are just fantastic. I got the chicken Milanese – it was so good. It was garlicky and bright with a little lemon, and shallot but still warm and satisfying for a winter day.

You can tell each pastry is made with care, love, and creativity. I have ordered the croissants, date and ginger cake, wreath bread, all were superb! Not your usual “overly sweet” bakery.
