I tried the jerk chicken and the oxtails (yes, I was being a little greedy) and both were seasoned so well I almost wanted to hug whoever was in the kitchen. The jerk chicken had that perfect kick without being overwhelming, and those oxtails were tender and full of flavor.
Portion size was good, especially for the price. I left full, happy, and already planning my next visit. The plantains and cabbage on the side didn’t disappoint

Very casual but very bright and happy aesthetic. I was so impressed with the volume and quality of the food that I went back the very next day and got the same meal + a beef dumpling to go. The employees are very very nice and helpful. I say that because I’ve honestly not been impressed with the customer service offered most places in Pell City. I will be a regular here and I’m telling everyone.

This was way better than anything we have available in Birmingham! I ordered the shrimp curry, and I was told it would take 15 minutes. It took less than 10 and I’m pretty sure I burned the roof of my mouth off from trying to eat it so fast, it was that good! I’m pretty sure I ordered the normal portion, and I couldn’t imagine how anyone would finish it let alone the large portion. I also liked how they had Jamaican sodas available that you could choose from. I can’t say anything about dessert because there was no way I could possibly try to fit in a dessert after all the food they gave me. There will definitely be a next time to try.

This restaurant is hands down a 10/10. The oxtails were so tender they fell off the bone and the gravy was rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. I ordered the large portion, and they definitely don’t skimp, you get your money’s worth!
I didn’t get a picture of the mac and cheese. It was honestly the best Jamaican mac we’ve ever had. It was super creamy, cheesy, and full of flavor.

The Punisher
First time getting to try Jamaican food and I’m not disappointed. Food was really good, had the Oxtails, curry goat and a beef patty. Meat was tender and even with the small order, you still get a good potion a food. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be eating here again.

My husband is Jamaican and I’m Trini so we were skeptical about finding good Jamaican food while visiting Pell City. This place was an absolute gem! The food tastes authentic and delicious.
The escovitch fish is seasoned to perfection, the rice and peas tastes legit and the cabbage fresh. The Mac n’ cheese was very cheesy/ oily but yummy if you’re craving a high calorie indulgence.
