This is not the place to go if you are visiting. My wife and her friend arrived first. I came a bit later. Some drunk local had been trying to talk to my wife and wouldn’t take the hint. She complained to the staff who did nothing. I suspect they were friends. I joined my wife and a short time later this individual tried to fight me and was very intoxicated, staff did nothing. Absolutely insane. Also it is very expensive.

Stopped by on a Thursday night. Two ladies behind the bar and I walked in and asked for a miller lite . They didn’t have it on draft and handed me a can which was fine. Even though it wasn’t busy they acted like it so when I asked for my tab I got charged $7.50!?!?!? 7.50 for ONE can of miller lite is absurd . seem like a cool spot and I wish them well but I’ll never return to that establishment. ✌

The owner discriminated against my group of people. He wanted to keep the “rift raft out,” so he charged us 20$ each my other friends that arrived 15 minutes prior and 30 mins after paid nothing. It also took over 30 minutes to get a drink. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Nice tavern bar restaurant vibe in dt roxboro.
I think they had outdoor seating and hangout spot in the back.
We all had burgers and enjoyed it.
They had a huge amount of bar space and plenty of seating. Decent amount of parking for being a downtown area, it was evening when we went no issues.

Mediocre service. The sodas were all flat (yes, a bar that serves flat soda) and we were informed that they were completely out of chicken, including wings. The menu is extremely limited and be prepared to wait a very long time for anything ordered.
Overall, a very disappointing experience. The owners should consider abandoning food service altogether.

I visited this bar last night and it was completely slammed. 2 people were working behind the bar, a young lady a
middle aged man with glasses. I try to flag the man who seemed to be ignoring customers. Finally I got his attention and said that I wanted a drink and the guy beside me as well wanted one. He seems to hear us and walks away. 5-10 min goes by and i see him at the other end of the bar washing dishes instead of making the drinks. He comes back to the end of the bar I am at as well as 3 other paying customers waiting to either place or receive orders and I ask him about the drinks. He said that he is only washing dishes and that we have to order from the young lady and walks away. Why did he not say this before? Finally I flag the young lady and tell her my order, that the fellow beside me wanted the same thing and that there were 2 other people to my left waiting to place an order. Mind you we had waited at least 10-15 min if not more and had been discussing amongst ourselves the poor service. The young lady was quick to get us all our orders and was very nice. She seemed overwhelmed and it is not her fault that this other man was not helping her at all. She should receive a raise beyond what she is making to have to handle such working conditions. Additionally, there were 2 large dogs (german shephard and pitbull) running loose through the bar, tripping guests and barking. At one point they seemed to be fighting and had to be separated. I saw several guests that seemed visibly frightened by these dogs. All in all I would not recommend this place based on the service and obvious hazard of large dogs running rampant through the bar unchecked. The german shephard was also behind the bar at one point which is probably a health code violation. I later found out that the middle aged man with glasses is the owner of the establishment. So I would think that he would take a bit more pride in the treatment of his bar guests.

Drinks are really really expensive especially for the atmosphere and quality of the clients. The bartender tried to charge me for extra drinks by allowing me to pay for the first then not taking my money for the second, then when I ordered the 3rd and tried to leave she tried to charge me for 3 drinks. DO NOT TRUST RUNNING A TAB HERE. I don’t recommend going here late at night. I have seen quite a few fights. The management must not care because they keep letting the trouble makers back in. This is not the place to grab a drink and have enlightening conversation with the locals at all. Also I am never really sure when they are open. They seem to just open and close when they want to. So I wouldn’t trust the hours or drive too far to get here. You might be disappointed.

Been here several times. Good food. Tonite my wife got a jim beam and club soda. It looked like club soda. Bar tender said it has an ounce and a half. Looked clear. I’m 60. Drinking jim beam a long time. Asked for a shot. Definitely weak. I suspect they are watering down their booze. Won’t be back. Shame
