I love their fried bread sticks. Truly the best bread sticks I’ve ever had. But the rest of their food is just subpar and/or not even correct; I included a picture of what’s supposed to be Chicken Marsala, and it definitely isn’t. It’s Alfredo. And their Carbonara is also basically Alfredo too. Was it good for Alfredo? It was alright, it wasn’t terrible, but their recipes are nothing like normal Italian food. From now on we’ll just get some bread sticks to go and cook the rest at home.

Awesome pizza, fresh salad, yummy soups.
Loved the over-loaded pizza… it take a fork & a knife to consume, to avoid toppings running out; perfecto !: )
(Somewhat larger soup bowls would be helpful.)

Had lunch. Nice, quaint restaurant in Tecumseh, MI. The bread sticks were outstanding. Great taste. Had the calzobe and a pizza. The calzone was tasty although the pizza crust was a tad limp and not crispy enough. All in all a good Italian restaurant.

We decided to try the thin crust pizza. It was very disappointing. The crust looked like traditional style around the edges, The whole middle of the pizza was just mush! The cheese and toppings were sliding off the the noodle like crust making it impossible to get it off the pan. The sauce was very good along with the toppings.

I have been going to Sals for 4 years. This last Sunday my Wife and I took a friend from Chicago to Sals. We were seated quickly. I ordered Spaghetti with mild Italian sausage, my wife ordered chicken Marsala and our friend ordered Lasagna and we also ordered Calamari. She brought the Calamari and served it with Sweet and Sour Sauce. We had ask for Marinara sauce. My wife received something in a cream sauce with spaghetti and chicken pieces small cuts that was terrible. I received spaghetti with a sweet sauce and hot Italian sausage. Our friend received a large plate with a quarter of a plate of Lasagna but tasted good. We ask about the food and a manager came out and explained we received the right food. She took off a part of the bill mainly for my wife’s food and the up charge for the Italian sausage. We will not returned.

Italian restaurant that serves breadsticks should be buttered with garlic, not Italian seasoning. The lasagna was great, the salad we had was wonderful with homemade Italian dressing. The waitress was very kind and helpful. Cute little place with a homey feel.

Nice little restaurant. Leaves you full for sure. The lasagna was cheese, cheese and cheese! I do like cheese! The staff was friendly and very courteous. I want to try their chicken marsala next time I’m in that area. The provolone cheese sticks were a nice appetizer as well.

I had the chicken barbecue pizza and found it tasty. My bride had the chicken Marsala and was disappointed in the sauce. It was all prepared well and the service was top notch. I thought the value was good.
