I’m writing this review because I had many challenging experiences with Ms. Ophelia’s customer service. I’m disappointed that this seems to be a recurring issue, as noted by other reviewers. She is a valued member of the team, and I believe she has the potential to improve. I hope this can be addressed so that she can continue to be a positive presence for customers.

Negative customer service!!
I ordered a regular hot coffee. One employee took my payment, and another handed me the coffee. Unfortunately, the coffee was almost cold when I received it. When I mentioned that the coffee was not hot, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the issue. I was simply looked at without any response. I then politely asked if I could please have a hot coffee. The employee just took the coffee back and appeared to reheat the same coffee using a machine which l am OK with this, but the thing that I’m not OK is during this time, there was no communication, no apology, and prolonged uncomfortable eye contact that made the interaction feel awkward and unwelcoming. I could argue with the worker since she was looking at me very rudely but l did not , as I was short on time. However, as a customer, it is reasonable to expect basic customer service such as eye contact, acknowledgment of a mistake, and a simple apology—especially when a hot coffee is ordered and received cold. I am sharing this feedback in hopes that the staff at this location can receive additional customer service and customer relationship training. Starbucks is known for its service, and this experience did not reflect that standard.

Worst experience, time and time again. Now I am super annoyed because I can’t get a direct email to share. One run around after the other. This business obviously doesn’t care about their business or the community it serves. Reading reviews about a barista that consistently is rude for over a year now. What are you doing? I got a cup of steamed milk today that burned my mouth while having zero coffee in it. What the heck? I saw this person treat people terrible for 15 mins while I waited for my 6.00 cup of steamed milk that scorched my mouth. Ridiculous.

They should really CLOSE this location — one of the worst staffs I’ve ever dealt with.
This has to be one of the worst Starbucks locations I’ve ever been to.
The service was incredibly slow despite there being barely anyone in line. It took over 20 minutes to get a simple iced coffee, and when I finally got it, it was wrong — twice.
Not sure what’s going on with management here, but it’s clear that they HATE certian customers
Definitely not up to Starbucks’ usual standards.

This service sucks, when they got my order wrong they got an attitude with me, and look at my like I was stupid or something and it taste horrible. And after they remade my drink they still made it wrong, and at that point I just wanted to go. NEVER GO HERE.

Ophelia was very rude. had an attitude and didn’t understand how to make my coffee. I was being very polite and understanding because it is very early but she didn’t match my attitude. she kept huffing and puffing and not understanding what i meant. she got my entire order wrong and for some reason kept charging me more than it is. my coffee has never been more than $10 and i was confused why it was almost $15. i won’t be returning to this location at all. this is very upsetting.

As some have probably stated before, this Starbucks has a lot of problems. 1. The drinks are never made consistently. 2. Some employees seem apathetic and seem like they do not want to be there (no smiles, or warm welcomes). Today i waited 20 min for my drink and another customer also complained they waited for 20 min and the order was incorrect. I wish Starbucks would open a stand alone in this shopping plaza but this one will be in business because of supply and demand. I also would like to add that upper level management could be more involved and not have only 1 or 2 employees working during the busiest times of the day (lunch hour, weekends, etc.)

It’s no secret that starbucks is my go-to coffee spot, specifically because of the stars and occasional deals (BOGO Free!).
I’m not a fan of this location because they are just always busy and sometimes slow with making the drinks. Wait times are very long, so if I need to come here, I try to order on the app at least 10 minutes in advance and ordering extra hot. However, because they are so busy at times, sometimes, they do not have the order ahead option. This is located in a very busy Harris Teeter, so it gets crowded during the busy times.
