Ordered a salad Saturday night got home ate 1/2 salad there was extra protein in the Salad by way of a Japanese beetle Pics below .

Nice place friendly staff. We ordered burgers. It took longer than I expected but once I my burger I was not disappointed! The bread was toasted perfectly, the veggies were fresh! The sauce was delicious and the burger texture was great! Excited to go back and try again.

Nice place. Interesting theme. Make sure to “scan the draft list”. Would definitely stop in again.
Driven by a lot of times… Decided to give them a shot.
The outside seating looks fun for warm evenings.
The inside has some of the nicest staff you could ever meet.
The food ranges from good to great. The only negative… Not staggering orders having 2 bites at an App and you food shows up is always an annoyance.
Lava wings are more BBQ than HOT. But they are big and meaty.
Calamari was a hit… But only got a bite or 2.
My fish and chips was “pretty good”. Breading was a bit closer to funnel cake and the strips were small and a little under cooked.”
Fish tacos were were scarfed down quickly.
Key lime was also “something to come back for”.
As stated before… Our server was exceptional. Never had to wonder here she was… Always made sure we had whatever we needed.
Wish I had scanned the draft list with my phone as my Blue Moon was stale.
Would definitely come back in warmer weather.

3.5/5. Surf House is known for their high quality food and environment, something that most restaurants rarely have together. This trip to Surf house we ordered the Maryland crab dip, spicy fish sandwich, and tuna poke bowl. The food this time was 7.3/10. The spicy sandwich wasn’t too hot but I was disappointed with the lack of seasoning of the Mahi-Mahi. I felt like the hot sauce and tomato overpowered the natural flavor of the fish. Other than that I still enjoyed it! The Maryland crab dip was very tasty but was accompanied by one piece of bread that wasn’t enough if you were heaping every scoop of the dip onto every bite. Also for $15, the amount of celery and bread was slightly less than expected. Lastly, the tuna poke bowl was fantastic. The guest I was with very much enjoyed the bowl and would definitely order it again. Customer service was also a bit weird. Our server stood behind the bar where orders are put in and she was either watching us or TV the whole time. Also the area in which the servers stand was overloaded and I would even say overstaffed with 8 people making it loud and a distraction to the experience of the restaurant. Other than the small suggestions, we had a good time eating pretty good food.

I was somewhat disappointed with the menu and food selection of the Surf House Island Catina located in Urbana, Maryland.
I expected more seafood on the menu, but yet Feld it was more a Mexican style Katina with chips, salsa, and tacos. I’m sure it is a hopping place to be during the summer.

Great carnitas nachos but everything else was mediocre making it way overpriced and to top it all of an additional 3% service gets automatically applied to the bill with no warning, what’s that all about? And why are you trying to save on your electric bill? Stop all the dingy lighting, it has an 80s bar feel.

Small little place thats pretty good with making food. Several seafood dishes but not as much as some others out there. Food is very tasty and fresh. Not busy at all for 5pm on a Saturday. Kids liked the food.
