The hot links are actually smoked sausages and they shouldn’t have been sliced. I was expecting a bun to go with it. The brisket had no smoke ring nor did the burnt ends. Not even sure how they were made. I don’t even have words for the sauce except sad. “We don’t have enough food to provide a sample.” You don’t have enough food to be charging $10 either. I’ll consider the money I spent a charitable donation that I’ll never make again.

A really great mom and pop BBQ place. Places like these is what makes Chicago the best Food city in America! Everything is good, I have had all the bbq sauces and they are ALL delicious. This is a BBQ place but they have some AMAZING chicken wings for a good price also. I prefer their chicken wings to places that only do wings! I Hope this place is around forever!

Hubby & I had burnt ends bbq dinners. They were without a doubt the best we’ve had. The sweet bbq sauce was delicious too! Found this gem on Google while visiting Chicago area to shop. Definitely worth our 10 mile detour to eat here! Not a whole lot of seating but came at noon on a Sunday and had no problem. It looks like most is carry out business. You won’t be disappointed with this choice.

Family type eatery. Food is outstanding . Don’t skip the fries as they are made to order. I have never had a bad entree. You wait for your food but that is the price for fresh vs. microwave. Casual dining and fun place. Try it.

Well the pork and brisket were very tender and good but we could not taste one hint of smoke flavor. No dry rub spice flavor.No chard pieces. The beans and Mac and cheese were very good. I will go back and try the burnt ends.

After living in Kansas City and San Antonio and now south suburbs of Chicago, it was tough finding bbq that stacks up. Well this place does! And they have burnt ends!!! Weekends only though. 🙁 The cornbread is great. And hell even the sweet tea is great here! Just try it. You’ll like!

If I were to rate this out of 10, it would get a7 or 8. It had very good barbeque food. I have had better, but not by much.
Brisket is tender. Rib tips were delicious. Pulled pork is great.
The atmosphere of the place is is biggest downfall.

Great flavor of the meat, delicious sauce! The person that answered the phone was very nice & patient. The food was ready when they said it would be. I enjoyed the overall experience. if I had to state some negatives, I ordered the 3 meat dinner w/ rib tips, hot links & 1/4 chicken. I received the pulled chicken instead, but, it was very good! I was half done eating when I realized the mistake. No biggy. I will definitely return for a mix of the sweet & hot bbq sauce.
