Latoya the manager was nice to us. We were an hour late coming to get our food. Due to bad directions i never noticed it was taking me back to my hometown , I used a giftcard online so I didnt want to cancel it . She warmed my potato for me and had my soup good and hot. The front cashier was nice as well as the young lady Christi whom just started today she was amazing..

I went here on my graduation day with my boyfriend and we had a great meal! It was a late lunch so the place wasn’t crowded and our food was out quickly. The portions were massive and everything tasted great! I had a half southwest salad with a half Italian sandwich. Also, the sweet tea is delicious!

Have always loved McAlister’s and was excited to have one open up in Baton Rouge. Visited for dinner service. Ordered a “King” Club and a half Rachel on white instead of rye with the half chipotle chicken spud. After waiting 30+ minutes for the food to arrive, the Rachel was on rye and the “King” club was the furthest from “king,” as it resembled a sloppy excuse for a regular club (normal amount of ingredients, two pieces of bread, missing bacon). After confronting the manager with the incorrect food, original receipt, as well as a pictures of the King Club from the McAlister’s website (actually featuring double ingredients and 3 pieces of bread), she said “oh, that’s how corporate tells us to make the king club now, sorry there’s nothing we can do.” When I pointed out that the bread for the Rachel was incorrect, she argued with me saying “uh yeah, that’s how it comes.” It took me showing her the receipt with the correct substitution for the staff to “fix” the food. After the sandwiches were sent back for bacon that was originally missing from the King Club and to switch the rye of the Rachel to white, they finally came back out after 20+ minutes with the food. Kitchen staff, expo, and front of house staff need a hard reset, or close the restaurant that was opened too early, for a few days to properly train all individuals in the system, as many of these poor reviews have pointed out. Until these issues have been resolved, I will not be returning. Hopefully changes can be made before this brand new franchise location goes out of business from poor service.

The place was absolutely freezing. Employees acted bothered that we were there even though we were the only ones there. They refused my request for two Arnold Palmer gallons because they needed to have a certain quantity of lemonade for closing (it was two hours until they closed). The food was also lacking less meat on the sandwiches, they forgot to give us a side. Truly a terrible experience.

You need to hire more or better employees, they work like working for free or not making enough money. Drive-thru is a nightmare and dine in even worst.
Too slow and bad attitude. Be careful with your business, you lost 5 customers who left the line before us.
We’re a family of 8 and like to eat at covington location, our first and last time at this location.

Food was absolutely disgusting DO NOT EAT HERE. Avocado was black and the turkey tasted fishy and old. Barely any sauce on my sandwich so it was super dry. AND THEY FORGOT MY PICKLE. I’d rather starve to death then eat here again

I usually love a good McAllister’s trip. I was excited to come to this locations since the one on Siegan is gone now. But the service was just terrible. No one was sitting, I was 3rd in line and the worker taking orders was no where to be seen. Couple minutes later she takes our orders. In the middle of taking my order, grabs a mop from the back and mops behind the counter. I waited 5 10 minutes for my order..when there was no one eating in the lobby. The customer behind me got her order before me. Also, the parking lot only has 8 regular parking spots dedicated to McAllister customers, 3 of which the employees take up.
Food was good though.

My experience at McAlister’s today was flawless. The friendly staff, the food was ready for pick up as I arrived. But most importantly the food was delicious!! The chicken pot pie soup was next level.. So good I had to write a review about it!! Y’all have a great staff at this location, they deserve praise and a raise!!

The server was nice, albeit juggling many dishes at once when I came. I got a Reuben sandwich, much more meat than anticipated! The lemonade tea (sweet) was also very good!

rate the service 2 out of 10. Wasn’t friendly and she basically forgot my drinks. I had just ordered them and was waiting and waiting, she went to the back, kept talking to her coworkers. As I stood and waited like 5 minutes. And I was like my teas? And she said oh. Also she forgot our salad dressing. We ordered a chicken Caesar salad and she didn’t put any dressing in the bag. It is my fault for not looking before we left. But if I’m paying 40$ for two drinks, a kids meal, and a salad. I expect everything to be in the bag. I was the only customer in the establishment, they weren’t busy at all. The kids “Auntie Ann” pretzels are not what they are advertised as on the menu online… I was disappointed all around from this experience. Don’t waste your time or money here.
