Hands down the best Neapolitan pizza in Redding. The crust was perfectly cooked with that ideal balance of crisp on the outside and soft, slightly doughy goodness on the inside. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming they even let us create our own pizza and gave us the option to have the prosciutto cooked with it or added afterward. We chose to have it topped after, and it was fantastic. Location was great, just down the street from the park we set up our Fifthwheel at.
We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town visiting family. Highly recommend Donatello’s Pizzeria!

After years of trying different styles and never getting it, Donatella Pizzeria Napoletana in Redding changed everything. Their Neapolitan pizza—perfectly charred crust, quality ingredients, incredible balance—showed me what pizza is actually supposed to be. One meal here converted me from a skeptic to someone who gets why this dish is so beloved. If you’re near Redding and want truly exceptional pizza, this is the place.

Donatellos has become our absolute favorite pizza place. The ingredients are clean and super fresh- no added oils, imported flour from Italy, and sugar free. The taste is absolutely divine, without the yucky hungover greasy bloated feeling afterwards. The bonus is that the pizza is made fresh in front of you and is usually ready in 2-3 minutes, which, if you have hungry kids in tow, you know how important this is! We’ve tried a ton of pizzerias in Redding and we will never go anywhere else, now that we have found this spot! It’s a keeper for sure!

Clean and welcoming new spot. Delicious and satisfying Neapolitan style pizza. Thin, soft and chewy crust with a toasted bottom. Sweet and zesty tomato in perfect ratio with cheese and EVOO. Delicious toppings on wafer thin crust, they know what they are doing. Excellent consistency between the 3 pies I ordered (Margherita, Marinara, Pistachio). Bravo Pizzaiolo!
