This place is amazing. My fiancé and I stopped here from Baltimore on the way to NH and we immediately felt comfortable. It reminded us of a similar restaurant back home. The service is great, food was 10/10 we had chicken parm with fries, they were very nice to also let us use the bathroom while waiting. I recommend

Food is great! Service is good. Be patient because most of the food is made fresh. Great place to find hard to get Italian items and foods. Parking is a PITA sometimes. Its a popular place so it’s expected. Their lunch sandwiches are great so many to choose. You can’t go wrong. The hot specials are fantastic. Homemade Italian food. You can find nice dinners there already fresh and warm. Family owned. They also sell pizza. Not bad for the price. Good Italian comfort food. Their coldcuts are nice and fresh. Prices are typical for coldcuts. Nice small Italian deli. I recommend.

Turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato mayonnaise, pickles and provolone cheese on a hard roll.

Embarking on my second culinary journey within a mere fortnight, I am left utterly awestruck by the delectable Turkey sandwich graced with an ensemble of tantalizing ingredients. Each bite transports me to a realm of unrivaled freshness and flavor. The lettuce, cool and impeccably crunchy, adds a refreshing crispness to every mouthful. A perfectly timed and ripe tomato, bursting with vibrant juiciness, complements the ensemble flawlessly. And let us not forget the star of the show—the turkey itself—fresh and cool, a testament to the quality that only the finest delis can deliver. Such perfection is a feast for both the senses and my camera lens, capturing the essence of this truly remarkable sandwich.

1 star because this food was horribly overpriced and I received an attitude for asking about it. Also sanitary reasons. I was charged $25 for these 2 chicken patties. $25. I can get lunch for 25 at Fritz in Oxford for my girlfriend and I. Not only the price, but who seemed to be the owner (an older grey haired guy) gave me a horrible attitude for asking why it was that expensive. I merely asked “$25? All I got was the 2, chicken patties”, and was met with “I don’t know what to tell you, you can’t just walk into a restaurant and demand different prices”. Which I get, but you cannot tell me this isn’t expensive for 2 chicken patties. On top of that, I’ve been there before and there food has been pretty decent, some good experiences some bad, but Everytime I’ve been there I watch how they work and I can say sanitary is not their first thought. They don’t wear masks, which when in the food industry you are breathing heavily all over the food that’s in front of you, and in this case there is visible sweat dripping from the workers face, I’ve also hardly seen them wear gloves while working, at least a few of the people. And one time in particular I saw they dropped a head of lettuce on the ground, pick it back up, run it under the sink, and get to chopping it up for a salad. I’m all for supporting local businesses, but there needs to be a standard to be followed. Hopefully they fix this stuff for the betterment of their customer base, but I doubt it. Simple factors to help keep the food clean and not giving the people paying for your product an attitude is not a difficult ask. I was a regular for a few months, but I’m not going back after this.

I always look for local places when I have to get lunch on the road. Sapore was a good find. I asked the guy who took my order what I should have and he suggested the ribeye sandwich. It was quite good and reasonably easy to eat while driving. Prices are fair. I’d go again.

I got a few sandwiches, some sliced meats and cheese, delicious homemade papaya biscotti and some old school Italian candies. The wraps I’ve had from here are always delicious and my family likes the wide variety of sandwiches. The staff is friendly and helpful. The shop has a lot to offer, including hot and cold foods, burgers, cake slices and take home groceries like pasta and pastries. Highly recommend.

I ordered from Sapore for our agency picnic. Lou was personable and attentive. I was so pleased with their accuracy (over 20 personalized items), their punctuality, portion size and taste! Thank you Sapore for a great experience!

Their Vegetarian sandwich is simply delicious!! I only wish they had more vegetarian/vegan options. I’ve ordered delivery for a group on a few occasions, and the delivery time has been good each time. I also ask for an itemized receipt (so my colleagues can pay me back) but it never ends up coming in the delivery box. The woman on the phone is quite friendly though!

Sit back for the list of problems I came across while coming here to order. 1st red flag, the deli person dropped the meat said out loud the 5-second rule, and kept cutting the meat to serve the customers it, note the floor looked disgusting. 2nd I saw some of the workers handling the food without gloves, and some were touching dirty towels to their noses or overall faces. 3rd the workers all have foul mouths and think that you maybe aren’t able to speak in Spanish when they talk poorly. 4th the milk area near the coffee smells like mold. 5th I went to the bathroom and saw all the gloves that I had seen the sandwich markers use in that dirty bathroom. 6th place looks half clean and half not every time I come here. 7th food looks not fresh, and has mold on some stuff I got gave me stomach problems. I also seen the workers not changing gloves when they magically do wear them, which is a problem for those with allergies or dietary reasons. So unless you want food poisoning don’t eat here, be my guest. It’s also too expensive to eat here.
