Wow! Our rental recommended the BBQ here, and we checked it out on a whim. It was lovely in every way! The outdoor seating was comfortable, with a beautiful view of the lake and a nice breeze. Our server was nice, attentive, and was able to make great suggestions when we had questions. The food was delicious! Everyone in our party would recommend their choice:

**Pulled pork sandwich with side salad
**Anchor burger with fries
We also shared cheese curds, and I had a great blackberry cider on tap. Their menu is online, making it easy to look ahead if you want. Highly recommend!!

Great experience overall. Really nice atmosphere a change from all the local dive bars. I got the brisket eggs benedict from the Sunday brunch menu it was best meal I’ve had in a while. Waitress was very nice too. We will be back soon!

One of the better places we’ve gone recently. Employees were awesome and right on the ball for every need and want. Even had a chance to talk to one of the chefs for a min after we aye. Definitely going again. Right on Long Lake just out of Sarona, gorgeous views and a pleasurable experience

Truly fantastic BBQ. Beautiful views with great service. We have tried the pulled pork, BBQ chicken, prime rib, brisket and many awesome mixed drinks.

We have been coming to this location for many years, but this was our first visit under new ownership… very nice changes. The Friday night fish dinner was excellent, the dining room seems more spacious. Our young server Gary, did a great job!

We have enjoyed Summers on Long, and thought the food and drinks were pretty darn good….until Labor Day weekend 2025. On Saturday we brought some friends from out of town…all 4 of us have been there before and really liked it. The food and drinks were very good!
…..this time, not so much. Service was pretty slow. Maybe under staffed for the holiday weekend.
I and another person in our party had the fish tacos. Yuck! The fish was very fishy tasting, with a ton of salsa on them that was not much better. Another person in our party ordered the shrimp kabobs which were way undercooked. None of us ate much at all on our plates. The waitress could not get to us as she was very busy. When she did get to our table, she was asked for a price reduction, just on the shrimp dinner, but said she could not do that.
We totally understand prices are going up. And when we go out, we are willing to pay for a good meal. This was NOT that.
I will never understand why any busness owner (Summers on Long is fairly new…used to be Props) would sink a ton of money into remodeling and upgrades….from the new docks on the lake, beautiful outdoor seating, nice interior…..and then lower the quality of the food. With so many “bar and grill” type restaraunts in the area, this could be be a real stand out.
It is getting too expensive to pay for great atmosphere but below average meals and service. A busy holiday weekend isn’t a good excuse…manage your product, staff numbers, and plan ahead. We won’t be back. Cheaper to grill quality food and mix drinks at home.

We’ve been coming to Summers on Long for years, and without a doubt, Zach is the heart and soul of the place. He is the bartender and human who has his stuff together— always cool, always professional, and always serving up incredible cocktails with zero fuss and all finesse. He is, without doubt, the STUD of long lake!!
