First time here. Had the chicken and spare rib combo. Chicken was hot and tender but needed a little more flavor. You could only really taste the smoked flavor. Ribs taste smoked not much flavor, heavy lighter fluid taste. Had 4 sides: black eyed peas zero stars, Mac and cheese 5 stars, potato salad 4 stars, baked beans 3.5 stars, cornbread muffin was decent. BBQ sauces all zero stars, HEAVY vinegar taste. My biggest complaint is they are never open. I think they may be open only a few hours on Fri & Sat. Last week they said 11-4, I went at 3p and they were closed (supposedly sold out)
I tried to call, no answer and mailbox is full. I guess you have to check facebook to know when they will open. Service was amazing, place was clean, pricing was fair!

We had the pleasure of working with Jell’s 4 Ever Bar-B-Q for our Pitts Family Reunion, and they did not disappoint! The ribs and chicken were absolutely tasty and tender – cooked to perfection. The hot foods were served hot, the cold foods were refreshingly cold, and everything was well-prepared.
Customer service was top-notch from start to finish. Ms. Darlene was an absolute jewel to work with – professional, warm and incredibly accommodating. She made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend Jell’s 4 Ever Bar-B-Q for any event. They helped make our reunion a true success!

Piping Hot food and that’s how I like it to come out… the meats are very tender with just the right Smoke flavor. I will say I don’t like vinegar in my barbecue, which I could strongly taste. Minus the vinegar it’s pretty good

The brisket was on point meaning very good.The ribs where good also just a little tough.As far as sides the baked beans were sweet but good, collard greens were good(could be bias because I love greens) lol, the slaw was a sweet vinegar slaw what you would find at midst barbq spots but good.The Mac and cheese was old school like grandma’s. Always a pleasure to stop in for lunch!

Amazing food! My coworkers and I travel to a different BBQ location every Friday. This place has set the bar HIGH! This is our 6th location so far and it’s been the best. One thing for certain is you won’t regret coming here!

Had a pork sandwich combo at their mobile BBQ unit that they set up at the old Madison Square mall on University for lunch (next to Holiday Inn), and my wife had a brisket sandwich. We both agree that these were the *BEST* BBQ sandwiches we’ve had in many years. We plan on going to their restaurant on Pulaski Pike with friends very soon. Reminds me of the BBQ style at old Thomas Pit BBQ that was out in Madison.

Service was great and they are black owned. I went years ago and the food was good . But not now. No seasoning on the ribs or chicken just a heavy smoke taste. Sides were horrible. I wanted it to be good but that will be my last time.

Why go anywhere else? We had brisket (waaaay better than Chuck Wagon even), and pulled pork and two of the meatiest rib bones ever. The sauce is spicy but not hot. Very nice! And the service is super attentive too. Yum.

I ordered bbq to-go for a baby shower and couldn’t have been happier with the food and service. They worked with me on quantity of food and pickup time. Additionally, it was the best barbecue I’ve had in the city. 10/10 would recommend.
