Food is mediocre. The taro and duck rice noodle, soup tastes good and light, and taro is well cooked but the duck is impossible. The soup uses red yeast a red wine as seasoning, so there is a unique taste. No tip is required in this restaurant

Very authentic Fuzhou comfort food served in basic settings. Everything is served in dsiposable plates or cups, but everything we have tried is so delicious! The stir fried snow pea shoots were very tender and full of flavor. Fish ball soup was piping hot and had about ten fish balls (for only $3). The Fuzhou style spare ribs were deep fried with chunks of taro in a sweet and sour sauce. The veggies in the pork fried rice noodles ($5) were just a tad bitter, which was perfect for the dish. For sure this food has more subtle flavor than say sichuan cuisine, but still outstanding in its own way. Five stars.

Ordered duck soup but it was just cut up bones, very little meat and the noodles and broth were very flavorless. The dumplings were decent.

My go-to fujianese spot in Manhattan Chinatown. Probs the most extensive fujianese menu in the area w food served as good as home cooked. I loved that they actually bother putting vegs, much more balanced meal than almost all other takeout spots. Super affordable, basically everything is ~$10 or less

I come here at least once a week, at times everyday.

Walked in on a cold day to find a bustling, warm restaurant. People were chatting and jamming noodles into their mouths. The noodles with peanut sauce (located under appetizers) are savory and nourishing, warm and filling. Grab a fried crueller to go with your stew and dip into it for a fulfilling treat. A great taste of Fukinese cuisine.
