The place was inviting and the staff worked hard to make sure I was fine, to the point if hovering, but I would prefer that to being ignored so that’s fine. The food portions were small for the price. I had the chicken piccata, and although the portion was small the flavor was fine. The broccoli needed serious help though. Try blanching, then shocking your broccoli, so it doesn’t come out brown and yellow looking! The seasoning on the broccoli was just missing. Also had the lasagna, I didn’t particularly care for their tomato sauce. Had the charcuterie board which was way under portion for the price. I do like where the restaurant is heading, especially for Waycross.

I’ve waited so long for a date night with my husband to visit here. So worth the wait! I knew months ago I wanted to try the calamari, they cooked it perfectly!!! I’ve been craving real cannoli for years, they came through!! I ordered the lasagna and it was amazing. The Cesar salad was delicious as well. I’ll be back soon and often!

Hands down the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever eaten at!! Down to the taste, presentation, and environment. We got to meet the owners and they were also the nicest people ever, I would recommend this place to anyone!! The food is made to order, this isn’t something you slap in the microwave. Sit down, drink some wine, and relax!

We loved the ambiance and the setting of this restaurant. The food is good and the portions are huge, we had enough leftovers for 2 full meals. The staff is also friendly and efficient, even when understaffed.

The lasagna did not live up to the hype. I get it is prepared to order and they have a small staff but wasn’t worth the wait or the $18. The cheese just didn’t have much flavor and the portion was very small. Apps were good and whoever the girl was that was working her first shift checked on us very regularly to refill our drinks while we waited. Presentation of everything was great and all of the food was very pretty to look at. They need sides or something to snack on other than one plate of comp bread. Nice place to sit down and visit while you are waiting for your food so make sure you are in good company. Probably wouldn’t eat here again though sadly unless they resolved some of the above. Really sucks because it is a cool place and you can tell they want to succeed

We finished dinner at Carmine’s about ten minutes ago. We drove 65 miles, one way, to eat there and it was worth every mile!
We arrived about 30 minutes before it opened. Prior to being seated, our waitress introduced herself and recommended the Caprese appetizer. The homemade fresh mozzarella alone was worth the trip!
My wife’s Lasagna was incredible and my Chicken Parmesan was very good, too. Wendy was an excellent, attentive server. We will definitely eat there again. You just can’t do better than authentic.

We would have gladly given this place 5 stars but our wait tonight has been extremely long. From what we understand they are short staffed tonight. However, our waitress, Wendy has been so kind and attentive. The host, Linda has been especially entertaining and we have thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and music. We’ve been waiting a while now but our glass has never been empty and Wendy made us an extra batch of bread for our trouble. I can’t wait to taste the pizza as we have seen and heard how wonderful they are. We will definitely give this place another try when they are staffed adequately.
