My experience at Dana’s Pizza was a bit mixed. I arrived 20 minutes after placing an order for three pies – a regular, a caprese pie, and a Drunken Grandma pie – only to be told it would be another 30 minutes. The restaurant didn’t seem busy, with only a few receipts hanging. It took some convincing to get them to start my order earlier which they did and I appreciated very much! See pictures of the pizzas.
The pizza man Oscar makes the best pizza in town, and he’s the nicest guy just look at the picture of him!
The pizza is excellent, maybe the best out of the 10+ KOSHER pizza places nearby! The pies are not full size, they’re 16 inches.
Expensive prices (16” drunken grandma was $37!) Very skimpy on the fries too

Second visit review:
I went back for a second time on a Saturday night and pizza man Oscar remembered me and was very generous. The lady behind the counter was unfriendly though.
Pizza was delicious as usual.
Two things stood out: the triangular serving tool they gave us to serve the pizza was perfect and made the pie-sharing experience much better.
I asked for spicy mayo which they didn’t have, but the pizza man simply used a few ingredients he had sitting there and made some delicious spicy mayo (pictured)- even though it wasn’t technically on the menu.
It’s those small things – spicy mayo, practical serving utensil, that make all the difference.
A+ for Dana’s!

This spot is a hidden gem. We had the plain cheese and grandma’s pizza and both were fantastic! The staff and owner are very friendly and it’s no surprise the place was busy the whole time we were there. Definitely worth a visit.

Oh my gosh ! Came to this place at 11:05pm at night and it said kosher pizza and i was so happy , it smelled so good inside & the pizza ??? Don’t get me started , i had the penne , the cheese and the garlic knots ! Fabulous , the garlic knots were light and not heavy , the cheese was the right amount . . nothing crazy and the penne ?! Honestly , one of the best penne pizza slices i’ve ever had ! Will definitely come again . Slices are $4.50 & penne was $6.00 but it was totally worth it

Love this place it is a kosher place, but the food is amazing it sells regular pasta to gluten-free pasta to regular pizza to gluten-free pasta. So, my entire family can eat together without worrying what we can have. I love that we eat together ❤️ and have choices. This is a must go and it’s a family friendly place.

Love how the bottom of the pie is thin and the whole pizza is a nice crispy. Tried white pizza with broccoli and onion slices and it was very garlicky but it had a delicious flavor. The price for a slice is worth it but they do have good deals posted on their window. Yummy and delicious pizza worth it for a splurge meal.

This was one of the best-tasting pizzas I have had in New Jersey. Excellent dough quality and taste of the basic slice. That being said, I am only giving the place 3 stars. Why?

Mostly, the value for the price is underwhelming, and the small size of the slices borders on miserly. As the photo shows, the slice was barely bigger than my hand for $4.50. Dana’s also does not use very much sauce or cheese on their slices. Thin crust would be fine, but I would expect a larger surface area for crust this thin.

Next, if they are going to charge this much, I would expect some extra love to be shown to the pizzas in terms of ingredients. I know I ordered a slice of cheese pizza, but I would appreciate it if they would give me a bit more sauce (which tastes great), another kind of cheese, a basil leaf, some olive oil… or anything extra on the slice really. But unfortunately, this pizza is as basic as the dollar slices in NYC. It feels miserly that they do not try harder, as these extra ingredients would not be that expensive.

Even though this pizza tasted great, I will not be going back.

They have helped me with the free food just by asking that I’m hungry. Great people. Love this place. You guys should give it a try.

The food is excellent, the pricing is obscene. “Starting at $4,” I wouldn’t guess that a plain cheese slice costs $4.50, but apparently $4 only gets you dough with some sauce. Snapple was $3.50 and a can of soda is $3. Really excellent pizza. I will not return.
