I do not like the change they did with this place. It was so nice as a restaurant and now it’s just confusing. They gave me 2 tiny butter packets for two big pancakes. Understandably it was not enough. I had to go back to the side were you order and wait forever for the people who were paying so I could ask for more butter and syrup. They then gave me two more packets and one more of syrup. At this point most of my food was cold. The scramble eggs were tasteless and the bacon burnt. Not a good experience overall

Went and ate today at about 630pm. Sadly wife ordered the filet and ended up switching with me because not only was our food cold but hers was pretty much leather with no flavor. It was rare to see our waitress and yet it still took her telling me three times that she would be right back with my soda refill for me to receive it. Was very disappointed after hearing how good their service and food was and getting what we did when we went.

Fairly good menu selection for breakfast. My omelette was generous and tasty and I loved the toast. My fresh fruit cup could have used more variety and a bit more “freshness”. We all loved our coffee and our waitress, Andrian, was attentive and very friendly.

Our bartender T.J. was awesome, food was great, but unfortunately the manager Susan was not sympathetic to the fact that we left our coupons at home and would not honor the deal. The assistant manager of the whole store Holly, was more than willing to overlook a piece of paper but, Susan still put up a stink. If not for her we could of had an awesome night.

This used to be such a great place, I know HyVee invested a lot of money into it. There is not any waitstaff anymore, it is run like a cafeteria. If you want something you need to go ask for it at the counter. The water was room temperature and they didn’t have ice. This was my favorite restaurant, but now it doesn’t even come close.

Our family used to love this place before Hy-Vee changed it to a market grille express.. the service prior to the switch was okay, took way too long to get beverages though.. not sure about the service now, haven’t gone back since they changed the format of the restaurant. I do see the place is empty a vast majority of the time since the switch so I guess that speaks for itself.

Service was horrible waited for drinks and a server for over 10 minutes. Food came out wrong had to be sent back. When brought out the second time part of it was dropped on the floor and of course the burger was rushed so it was red in the middle and the bread of the patty melt was Dripping with grease. When the check came there was no compensation for any of it.

Ran out if keg beer no more in the back. Did not carry Guinness. (It is St. Patrick’s Day). All you can eat chicken wings and fries chicken was dry like it had sat for a long time also no tags on the sauces with the wings. Manager not very attentive to customers. He should be paying more attention to what is going on at the market grille. The only thing they have is a burger. I would hope you could not screw that up. They could be a great restaurant but the manager needs to step it up.

Drinks were awesome! So was our appetizer. But then came the food ! What ever you do do not and I mean do not order the fish tacos came out cold and tasted old .Worst thing I have ever gotten .
