Had a great lunch this past week at Neutral Ground. I had the Steak sandwich, while my daughter had their Burger. Both were sooo good, we should have split one though, as they are BIG! Also they are on brioche buns, so if you don’t like sweet roll, then head to entrres. I didn’t read the menu correctly, and the awesome sweet potato tots were unfortunately rolled in cinnamon sugar (not diet friendly). Daughter’s fries had perfect seasoning on them! One waitress was doing all the work of 2 (1 apparently quit with no notice), so delay was understandable, but worth it as good was hot and sooo good! As we both took half our our meals home, it was def worth the little extra, and we will be back!

Friend gave me bad review but I had to come check out for myself and do be honest. The service is great! They have great customer service and the atmosphere was nice for a Sunday afternoon while game was on. But the food was not up to par too much. I had the Caesar salad and the Seafood Yakamein was just missing a lil something and the grilled cheese was a lil sweet idk if was bread.

This place was great. Nice small spot and they seated our huge party and got right to work on our food. The place is very welcoming and all the food was enjoyed by our party. We had a great time here and we all can’t wait to come back. Hopefully the locals support this spot as everything was delicious and well seasoned! I had a sweet tea and some wings along with the sweet potato tots. Dessert was peach bread pudding.

This restaurant completely exceeded my expectations! EVERYTHING that my dad and I had was fantastic! Everything is housemade to order!! The oysters were great. Not the best we’ve ever had, but still great! We also got the redfish birria tacos and they were phenomenal! My dad got the Zay’s BBQ Burger which we would rank with the (if not the) best burgers in Slidell. I ordered the steak sandwich and it was absolutely perfection. The best steak sandwich I’ve had. Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and with the perfect housemade chimichurri sauce!! The fries are housemade and are fantastic. For dessert we tried the key lime pie and the peach bread pudding. Both are incredible. I’m not a bread pudding fan but this one is an exception. Everything was incredible and I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu!!! Do not sleep on this place!!!

This was the BEST food I’ve had in a restaurant in a while! From the Caesar salad to every single crumb on my plate. That was the best Caesar salad I have ever had in my life! The red fish was cooked to perfection, the brussel sprouts were amazing! We will definitely be back! I had to hug the chef!!! We can’t wait to get back and try more items! And to top it off we had good service! If you haven’t tried this place yet, you’re missing out! Run don’t walk!

Stopped in after work with my fiancée for the first time and we really enjoyed it. I had the marinated steak with fries *chef’s kiss* and my fiancee had the oysters and gumbo and she loved it. We actually made it just in time for happy hour and the drinks were yummy. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming. We’re looking forward to going again.
