I tried to park at the Love’s for a layover, but it was jam-packed so I ended up parked on a dirt road. I decided to venture out and found this place. The listed hours are wrong (I hope the owner fixes that, this place deserves attention). It looks closed from the front so you have to go around back. The atmosphere is a bit dark and gloomy (seems to have a bit of a pirate theme? It worked for me), but the music, pool and wall-to-wall decorations will keep you busy and definitely liven the place up. The locals keep to themselves mostly, but I didn’t exactly go out of my way to strike up a conversation so take that however you will. The bartender was friendly, and still made me feel at home while she took breaks to play pool. It looked like they served pizza and probably other simple bar foods. Not sure what as I didn’t order anything, but decent grub/snacks are always a plus. Best part is that the drinks are poured very generously (if the owner reads this, NO, the bartender isn’t trying to give the house away ), and they’re very inexpensive. A double Tito’s and a shot of rup for 8 bucks? That’s unheard of. I will definitely be coming back here given the chance. Also, did you knkw there’s some kind of derelict steamboat outside? Would be cool to hear the story about that some day.

We always feel like we belong. The owner is very nice and always takes time out of her busy night to talk to us. I would recommend that you stop in for a drink and a game of pool or PA skills games.

One of the strangest places I’ve been to. I didn’t feel welcome, for sure. Very dark. Poor, indifferent service. Nicer inside than the outside appears. Probably great for pool players but I can’t understand how this place makes money. They really don’t care. No food.

Great place too hang out while driving through. We stayed nearby and played pool for awhile. Beers and drinks were super cheap and friendly. They should play more music!

Plenty of pool tables.. bartender is nice…. Don’t drink. But they have beer if that’s what your into.. People are friendly.. parking is great… all around good place .. will be going back ..

Very dirty and better take dollar bills bc they couldn’t even break a 20 dollar bill for a drink. Quite honestly surprised it’s still open. If I didn’t have pool league there I’d never stop in again.
