Baking the best biscotti and granola for over twenty five years! Folks travel to get our award winning carrot cakes, from-scratch eclairs, giant black&whites, colorful iced sugar cookies, raspberry linzers and valley shortbread. Visitors and locals alike enjoy house-made soups with artisan bread rolls and our extremely popular chicken salad. Chicken potpies are bake-at-home take out or pre-order — worth the wait. Lately we’ve added traditional potato-onion knish, served hot with brown mustard on the side. Quiche everyday and real fruit smoothies. All are welcome.

Friends and I stopped here while we were walking in town during our trip to the Catskills last fall. Everything looked great and smelled delicious!

One of my favorite places to have breakfast on a Saturday morning is The Hudson Valley Dessert Co. Connie and everyone at the bakery always put love into everything they make! This morning I got an egg and Asiago sandwich with avocado and homemade sausage that they make there! It was (and always is,) delicious! I got a cup of hazelnut hot chocolate to have with it!

We recently had a wedding in the area and Hudson Valley Dessert Company was the perfect choice for our wedding cake and dessert. They provided an excellent level of service at the tasting, conducting delivery, and throughout the process. We wanted to do a unique cake and the bakers were thrilled with the opportunity to flex their creativity and skills. They worked closely with our venue to ensure the logistics of the cake would work and we completely trusted that everything would go well. Our guests were so impressed by the cake and the other desserts. We had cannolis, pecan squares, and gluten free brownies. Everything was delicious. We found that we got really great value and highly recommend them for others looking to order their wedding cake from the area.

We received a gift of 7 packs of biscotti, sent directly from the shop. I know the sender wanted to send us biscotti that we could enjoy! (We love good biscotti!) Unfortunately, these are the worst biscotti we have ever eaten. READ BELOW FOR OUR ASSESSEMENT OF EACH:
– Orange Chocolate is the best of the 4 kinds we received because the consistency is most like a biscotti. I also like the orange flavor, but I don’t taste chocolate at all.
– Cranberry Walnut was pretty bland and a little too soft to be considered a biscotti.
– Chocolate Chip Almond had the right consistency, but was ruined because of the added cinnamon sugar on top. If not for the sugar, they probably would be okay.
– Chocolate Almond were way too hard and nearly flavorless. These are hard enough to break a tooth on. (Unfortunately, we received 4 packs of these).
One other note. I didn’t see expiration or “baked on” dates. So, I don’t know how, or if, they are managing product in that way.
I cannot recommend purchasing biscotti from this company. Perhaps their other desserts are exceptional but their biscotti are terrible.
We will likely throw out all 7 packages.

The tuna is delicious! You can get it as a quick grab ‘n go or as a sandwich. Staff were so nice! There isn’t much seating inside, but we were able to make it work for our big group!

But when it came to the actual food.
Ordered an egg sandwich with a bunch of extras: sausage + cheese + croissant. It took forever for the food to show up and resulted in this sad mess of a sandwich.
They got everything wrong. And it wasn’t even tasty.
I do not recommend this place.

One of the best gluten-free cupcakes I’ve ever had, super moist, while also super dense. Could not even tell that it was gluten-free. The employees change their gloves in order to get it out of the case, was very conscious of allergies. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Love this place! Always make an October trip into Saugerties and we MUST stop here for their awesome biscotti. So good! I love their orange hazelnut and my husband loves their Mandelbrot! Definitely a must if you’re in the area!
