The people here are very nice, relaxing, inviting, I will return, this was my very first trip to Long Beach and by accident I found this wonderful little place, me and my dog were both welcome and the food was exceptional. Have a look at my pictures Mouthwatering… the Parking sucks, but that’s what Long Beach is. I can’t hold it and won’t remove a star because of that.. overall my experience was exceptional

This restaurant is small, and the service was very good. I had the ocean trout nigiri, baked crab handroll, Philly roll, and the aburi salmon nigiri. The salmon nigiri was good, but the ocean trout just ok, I’ve had better. The Philly roll was very good and the baked crab hand roll was phenomenal.

I’ve been saying that there is no great quality sushi in DT Long Beach for years now and I can finally no longer claim it. Sushi Beluga’s produce quality and sushi cuts are what one would expect when eating in Japan. They have an extensive menu selection — I’ve tried variety of their appetizers, rolls, hand rolls, sashimi, specials, all great!. Many items come the traditional miso soup and ginger dressing salad. I’m partial to their nigiri, and my favorite is the Omakase option, entrusting the Chef to create the selection. The staff is exceptional, always very welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The place is cozy, with corner-shaped sushi bar and tables both inside and outside. It’s just far enough from Ocean Blvd that you don’t get all the street noise when seated outside and the patio is dog friendly. This is the most underrated restaurant in DTLBC, highly recommended from this sushi snob

I come here as often as I can. The service is great and the chefs are skilled at what they do. Rolls are well constructed, all the ingredients are well balanced and most importantly the quality of fish here canNOT be beat. Pictures don’t do it justice. If you haven’t been here, you just need to come in and try it. Great sake selections as well. Recently my go to has been the Suigei

Swung by this place on our way back from downtown. Its tucked in-between two large apartment buildings but has a nice outdoor area. They were really busy, but took our order right away. Everything was great, the crunchy dragon roll was so good we got a second one for dessert. Did a little reading and found out the owner has been in the sushi business over 20 years. No complaints and plan on stopping in again soon!

Incredible sushi joint in Long Beach!
This restaurant is well-known in Playa del Ray and I’m so glad they opened a location here. The waitress was remarkably kind and attentive, and the sushi chef delivered with exceptional quality and admirable finesse! We had a sushi plate and added a baked crab + tuna roll. Everything was mouthwatering-ly good, from the nigiri selections to the sushi rolls. Amazing sushi and likely one of the best in the area!!
Worth mentioning: a great variety of Japanese drinks (beers!!) + Sake to choose from!

I am a long time sushi aficionado. I live in Las Vegas and my favorite sushi is at Osaka which is a Las Vegas landmark for 50 years. I have to say it. This place BLOWS my favorite sushi bar away!!.
By far the most amazing sushi on the planet. I don’t to go on because I’m still eating. It’s a 300 mile journey I will make when I am in the area. K is the best itamae I’ve met. I will come here anytime I am in the area. I will add more photos. I’m still eating lol
