This was one of the most pleasant places that I have eaten at in a very long time. Great customer service! I checked the wrong item on my order. They brought a grilled chicken sandwich and I told them that I had wanted a grilled chicken salad. The young gentleman said no problem. He took the sandwich and brought me back the salad. This is definitely a place that I will return to, as well as, recommend to my friends.

I can not express how much my family loves this spot. Not only do my kids ask for it 10x a week but me and my husband always love treating ourselves to a PT’s burger. The service at this location is unmatched and everyone works so hard to get the food out on time. Highly recommend.

1st time here as I live in VA, was a great experience and one of the team members, Olivia, helped me when I asked her for a suggestion, she recommend a grilled chicken sandwich with mayo, lettuce, bacon, and pepper jack cheese which was great! Highly recommend, all the staff were not only nice but attentive as well.

June 2025 edit: we recently went to this location and the burgers seemed to be store bought patties, very strange for PT’s. If this is a change they made chain wide, their success will not last. The fresh handmade patties were part of their winning formula.

The wait staff were very unorganized, the lobby was chaotic, and our order was incorrect. My observation was they are unable to effectively organize the orders that the patron has to provide by filling out an order slip.
My son and I had our orders in about 15 minutes however my wife’s salad was not delivered at the same time. After waiting another 10 minutes I waited in line at the register to let someone know we were missing an order. Again we never got my wife’s food. We were also never asked for a refill or visited by an employee as we were seated.
Not a fan of the ordering process and the service sucked for overpriced burgers. We will elect to spend our money elsewhere.
We will never visit this establishment again. It’s a shame but it was not worth the hassle!!

I’ve been to this location a few times now. Every time the staff is extremely welcoming! The food is delicious and comes out quickly. The staff is always on top of asking if you need a refill. Will return.

Due to chronic kidney failure, I am unable to eat potatoes so I had them withhold the fries and simply give me the small. I believe it’s 4 oz hamburger and they charge me for a complete meal. So I paid close to $12 for a 4 oz cheeseburger. No drink, no fries. They would not adjust the price.

I love PTs. Been eating at their restaurants for years and was thrilled to have a Hampstead location open up.
Their burgers are cooked to order so I can get one cooked rare as I prefer, which I love because I can’t stand an overcooked burger.
Plus their fries are crazy delicious.
Only problem is their burgers are much bigger than their buns so you have to eat around the outside or just go all in for the delicious mess. Lots of napkins always needed!

We’ve been long time patrons of another P.T.’s location in Wilmington, and have been thrilled to get one in Hampstead. Hopefully Surf City will get a location in the future too!
Big hamburgers, little hamburgers, roast beef, turkey, black bean burger, chicken, chicken fingers, fries and salads have all been good. I really like their blue cheese dressing, it’s the only one I like. Kids love to color and turn in their pictures for a hot dog gummy treat.
Everyone working there that we’ve interacted with has been awesome. We’ve been many times since they’ve opened and haven’t had a bad experience. They bus the tables quickly, so make sure someone stays at the table if you’re taking anything home when going up to pay the bill/get a box.
