My burger was completely missing the burger patty. I have made comments before about this specific location (Clemmons) consistently messing up our orders. Nothing has changed. I have never made a Google review, but this will be my first. I’m so disappointed in the lack of care and responsibility Cookout has. As a restaurant server, I understand mistakes here and there, but this has gone beyond that. We’re giving up on Cookout and taking our business elsewhere since you are consistently inconsistent.

I’m convinced the good ratings on here are employees. The Clemmons cookout is HORRIBLE. They CANNOT get a simple cookout burger right. Every single time I go there I’m reminded why I haven’t gone in a while. The milkshakes all hardly have any flavor because of lack of ingredients and never mixed well. I live in Clemmons and would rather drive to the peters creek one than this one. Needs new management or cooks or something! Cookout burger has always been one of my favorites and I’m very disappointed and how this cookout is being ran.

Just like any cookout, this one can be a hit or miss on food based on the teenagers they typically hire. Overall, the food is normally pretty good and consistent. The staff don’t seem to be highly trained on customer service and typically prefer their ongoing chitchat which can be why wait times for food tend to be kind of high. This is a teenage hangout spot, especially after 9 PM when most of Clemmons restaurants close. The drive-through line can get quite backed up and can take 10 to 15 minutes to get fully through.

They shorted us on chicken nuggets that were ordered as a side. Supposed to be 4 as a side, they only gave 3. Kid was hungry for more than that. Rather than make a deal of it, we went back and just ordered a 9 nugget tray and chose the option to double it instead of other sides. Should have been 18 nuggets in that tray, they only gave 15.
The nuggets along with the rest of our burgers were incredibly greasy, beyond normal for any cookout. Grease was literally squeezing out of the buns when we picked them up to eat them. This location is disappointing. Try one of the better ones.

I always get the same thing. Bacon ranch wraps. But tonight i got 3, and 2 out of 3 sucked. The bacon was RAW. I can’t believe people actually serve this kind of food….

The food tasted good. You could just tell the people were new and weren’t properly trained. They were very kind and you could tell they were doing their best. But my peach cobbler milkshake had full size non cut peaches and it didn’t have all of the ingredients. Usually it has the peaches but up and spread throughout and it has the crunchy sweet stuff mixed in it, idk what it is… It still tastes okay but I was really looking forward to the right thing. Please do a better job reaching these kids.

The food was amazing as always! Cookout is pretty reliable for great food. The inside is super clean and the employees are welcoming. One in particular Vincent, is always working hard and has a smile on his face. He is super helpful and goes above and beyond. If you need a milkshake made he’s probably the best! (Truthfully everyone does a great job if he isn’t there). Also, the interior decor and nod to the Cookout 400 & Souther 500 is awesome!

It was amazing and everybody was super kind, the person taking my order was really nice and he was a great helping hand he even told us to try the cookout sauce it was amazing I asked him for his name, his name was Mo the food was amazing I ate it in 2 minutes and my order came in less than a minute everything was amazing I definitely recommend
