Colorful and flavorful as always. This place never disappoints.
Food looks just as pictured. Wonderful presentation, tastes even better. Authentic Puerto Rican food with Flavor and Color. Excellent customer service. Owner is always responsive and willing to make accommodations. Food is some of the best in Milwaukee, Pina Colada is top tier. From a loyal customer.

Every time I hit Milwaukee, this Puerto Rican food truck is a must. The moment you pull up, it’s like stepping straight into the island the smells, the energy. Every bite brings me back home. The flavor is unreal perfectly seasoned, juicy, and full of that Boricua soul you can’t fake. The menu’s got everything, from the classics to creative twists that hit every craving. You can tell they cook with pride. I go every chance I get because it’s not just food, it’s a full experience a piece of Puerto Rico right here in Milwaukee. If you want real flavor, real culture, and real love in your food, this is the spot.

Stopped by the Las Virellas Food Truck during our recent visit to Milwaukee and was so excited to find Puerto Rican food! I ordered the Boricua Box, and it was absolutely wonderful. Great flavor and generous amount of food. They take your number and text when your food is ready

I’m Puertorican 100% , and unfortunately my experience with the food was horrible, the only good thing was the alcapurria and was a little too greasy and too soft. The carne frita was horrible , no flavor at all , they were out of plantain so no mofongo or tostones , that was very disappointing and the fries and amarillos were soggy too oily. Not a good experience unfortunately ♀️.

The service was great – be sure to scan the QR for their “secret menu.” Chimichurri was some of the best I’ve had. Shrimp and skirt steak were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Fries are fresh cut and rice was flavorful. Overall, fresh-tasty-worth every penny!

Had them for the first time at the West Allis Food Truck Friday, and honestly can’t wait to have them again soon! The sliders were top notch, and the Pina colada (non-alcoholic) was refreshingly delicious. Can’t wait to work through their other menu choices in the near future!

This was ordered & picked up on the way to work by a co-worker that suggested this truck, I’m very happy he did so, love the plantain Slider’s & can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. Definitely a place to go to if you want to try something different and unique

Edit: lowering my review due to lack of organization after trying them again. I ordered online and you are texted saying you’ll get a follow up text when your food is ready. There was a loud event going on with music and a lot of people and I was expecting a text as I waited in seating area. Finally went over after 30 minutes and my food is sitting there and cold!!! Plus the chicken does not look like the one advertised. I hate chicken breast and that’s what I got instead of the dark meat in the menu photo. Chicken has good flavor but was dry. I just wanted a hot lunch! 🙁 no apology from staff when I brought issue to their attention – other vendors have no issue using the text notification feature.
I was nervous to try this food truck for the first time due to the mixed reviews I had heard from friends but I was very pleased with my first go at their menu.
Fresh, tasty food and great portions for price. We tried the Boriqua box and got plenty of juicy meat.
My only gripe was after waiting for more than 10+ minutes in line in the hot sun, upon getting to the front we were informed that we had to order online for card orders and only cash orders were being taken at the truck. I understand being busy but to keep the flow of the line, orders, and hungry customers, I’d encourage yall to create some signage to let people know (especially for new comers)!
