They charge almost $10 for an appetizer claiming ground chicken in a fried wonton wrapper. This is what we got. Can’t find the chicken? Look closely in the middle and see the chicken provided in the wrapper. A piece not even the size of a quarter. My call to the restaurant fell on deaf ears although at the time I had yet to find any chicken.
While the wonton soup is OK, for $15, well it seems that most restaurants don’t give you your money worth.
The final dish was pad cha (sp?). Now this may well be an authentic dish (I have nothing to compare to) i asked not to add any spice to begin with, as my wife was going to try it. ( I prefer a medium heat level.)
I was told that the base has a fair amount of heat, so I told them not to add anything to add heat- but it tipped the scale IMHO as at least a medium or more without adding anything to make it spicier.
Personally I didn’t find the taste to my liking. But that is my opinion.
Portion sizes were generous, presentation was beautiful, and everything came out hot and fresh. This is hands down one of the best Thai food spots I’ve tried. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!
Highly recommend to anyone craving flavorful, authentic Thai cuisine!
Why did I wait so long to dine here!? Our dining experience was great, our server his name was Nice was great too!
On the menu:
Fried Tofu with sweet & sour sauce topped with crushed peanuts
Spicy Eggplant with Tofu & brown rice (extra charge)
Spicy Basil with ground beef & white rice
Our appetizer Fried Tofu paired well with the sweet and sour sauce topped with crushed peanuts. I loved my dish – Spicy Eggplant with Tofu. The Eggplant and Tofu was cooked perfectly it was firm and tender at the same time with just the right amount of seasoning and sauce. So delicious! The Spicy Basil with ground beef spice level one was perfect.
If you haven’t been here, when you’re in the area and want to have Thai food check this place out.
The menu was filled with a wide variety of authentic Thai dishes, and the flavors were simply exquisite… I highly recommend trying their Sea food, which was perfectly balanced and packed with delicious flavors. The Tom Yum soup was also a highlight, with its aromatic spices and fresh ingredients.
The service was impeccable throughout the entire meal. The waitstaff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations based on our preferences. They were more than happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions.
To top it off, the presentation of the dishes was impressive, adding to the overall dining experience. The portions were generous, ensuring we left with satisfied appetites.
Overall, I can’t say enough positive things about 9 Thai kitchen restaurant. It’s the perfect place for a delightful culinary journey through Thailand. I’ll definitely be returning soon to explore more of their delectable offerings. Highly recommended!”
The meal you see is the lunch special. For $8.95 you get all this food, soup, salad, an egg roll and the Pad Thai. The quality of this food is deserving of 5 stars. Everything tastes fresh. The egg roll came out hot and freshly fried. The soup was warm and a nice appetizer. The salad had a nice refreshing dressing on it. The Pad Thai was what impressed me the most. The portion is huge for the price that I paid. The pieces of chicken I had were big and it also had good flavor to it. The noddles were perfectly cooked. I loved the sprouts that are in the dish, they add a little something to the dish.
The waitress I had was so friendly and helpful. She made sure my water was always filled and asked me multiple times if I needed anything else. If you love good quality Thai food accompanied with excellent service definitely come in for a meal. You will be treated right and not be disappointed.
FOOD: 5/5
Wow they have duck curry. Very rich, not runny, seriously yummy. The som tum (papaya salad) is also very refreshing. I like that the Thai tea isn’t overly sweet.
SERVICE: 5/5
The waitress was very nice. Food came out fast.
Cute Decor (explaining how to speak Thai with comic signs) and good location.
Highly recommended.
