Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar in BetMGM Sportsbook at State Farm Stadium is a 17,000-square-foot sports, dining and entertainment venue located at the north end of the Great Lawn. We came here after the game and shared their appetizer platter and it was spectacular. It had something for everyone. We had a new server and she was fantastic too. Everyone was very friendly, including the security who was helping us navigate the ride sharing.

I’ve been wanting to check out Flanker for quite a while, but I haven’t seemed to been in the area very much h these days. This week we decided to stop in and it was DEAD. This is definitely a spot more busy during football with tailgating etc since it’s right across from Cardinals Stadium. There is a betting area inside and there were about if five security guards standing around with nothing to do. Besides us there was only one other couple inside. We opted for the bar. They have a good food menu, but we’d already eating so I can’t speak much on that, but everything I’ve seen looks delicious. I had a local cider since they don’t carry sour beer and I wasn’t feeling cocktails. There are some beers on tap of course. It was pricy compared to so many other bars around. We both had one and left. Service was great and bartender friendly. Maybe we’ll come back when there a game and get some food.

If you want to go and watch a game while the cardinals aren’t playing, this is the spot! Any other team or sports this place is dope! $18 bottomless mimosas for brunch was totally a hit. Service was pretty good and would have refills of our mimosas before we could even ask. You can also throw some sports bets here if you’re into that.

Great spot to watch sports. You can bet on games at the MGM counter where you enter.
Flankers is a pretty good-sized restaurant/ bar with lots of TVs facing the bar. There are large windows that overlook nice green grass.
Our server was nice and checked up on us often.

The salad was good and refreshing. The Carne Asada fries were amazing. Living in San Diego, you think they would have the best, but Flankers is by far the best to me as far as the meat. It was seasoned so well and tender. Usually, the meat at other restaurants I’ve eaten at is harder in texture. When I’m in Phoenix again and want Carne Asada, I’d return.

Food and drink were delicious and priced reasonably. I would have rated this place 5 stars but the waitress accused us of attempting to walk out in our bill and called security on us. We ordered drinks and an appetizer at the bar while we were waiting for a table. Our table was ready before our food came out and the bartender said it was ok for us to take our drinks to the table and she’d have the kitchen bring our food to the table. I paid my tab with the 2 drinks and the app at the bar. As promised the bartender asked the kitchen to deliver our food to our new table. We intended to order more food but the app we ordered was so big that it was suffice to feed the both of us (we actually couldn’t eat it all!). When we were done with our drinks, we headed for the exit because our bill was paid for. A security guard stopped my husband as he exited and told him that we couldn’t leave because the bill wasn’t paid for. The waitress rang up a separate ticket for our food and claimed that we placed the order with her when we sat down. I explained that we ordered with the bartender and the bartender said it was ok to bring our food and drink to the new table as long as we closed out our tab at the bar. I showed the waitress my receipt that showed we paid for our 2 drinks and appetizer, to which she said that I didn’t sign the credit card version, therefore I technically did t pay. I explained that the copy I had was my copy and the bartender had my signed copy. After having proof of my payment, the waitress was still rude and didn’t bother to apologize for the wrongful accusation. Quite embarrassing to have security escort you back in on a very busy day.

I’m from out of town and just wanted to relax and watch some football. Food was good but good luck getting some good service beyond your water drop off. For a sports bar you sure didn’t get the feeling they wanted you there. Would have been nice to see staff more than once during the game.

We came, our drink order took over 30 mins. We ordered drinks before our food and we got our food before our drinks. Our second order of drinks we ended up having to cancel. Our server was very nice but she probably needed help. Probably will not be back.

Miriam our bartender was Amazing? We had a margarita and a draft 805. She made the margarita perfectly and the 805 was extra crisp. They definitely make their tap lines a priority. We also had Buffalo wings they were perfectly crispy and extra meaty. 10/10 would come back every time we visit Phoenix
