I got a brown sugar cold brew and a rice crispy treat. Both were super delicious. My husband got a black hot coffee and everything bagel with cream cheese. He said this will be our new coffee spot! It was very clean and inviting. The girls working were all very friendly. Love love love this place the prices are extremely reasonable as well!!!

Went to Serendipity Cafe this morning. My son ordered the Peppermint Bark hot coffee and a Cinnamon Bun. I ordered a Brown Sugar cold brew and a cookies and cream cookie. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be going back to try more items on the menu. The cafe is very bright, clean and cheerful.

This is my usual go-to place. They make the best iced lavender matcha. I’m hopeful they bring the rose syrup back. I also love the lemon blueberry loaf, donuts, donut bars, cinnamon buns, turnovers, and my dad loves their drip coffee, scones, and plain bagel breakfast sandwiches. We also both enjoy the sourdough bread.

Serendipity Cafe is every coffee shop lover’s dream. To start, the whole space is crisp and minimalist. Everything is picture-worthy. Unlike most local cafes, it’s spacious and there is plenty of seating – you don’t have to feel bad about taking up a table for a couple hours. The homemade baked goods are delectable (I tried the orange scone and it was the perfect complement to my latte). The drinks are not only fun and delicious: it’s evident that the baristas making them know what they are doing. They currently use Salt City coffee which is a local Syracuse-based coffee roaster. I had the pistachio milk latte which was both unique and the perfect balance of sweet but not too sweet. I also tried the Nutella mocha and it will be my next order.

Tried their lavender honey latte, very pleasant. Cute corner for merch and local goods. Almost missed it because their sign is tiny next to the ice cream place next door.

It’s so nice to have a real cafe, not a diner, in this area of CNY. This place fills a niche that The Toast vacated when they moved out of Canastota, and you know what? Serendipity does it *better.*

I got the seasonal flight and the breakfast sandwich. Both were great. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Staff are all friendly and service is great.

There is plenty of seating with outlets throughout. No couches, just a mix of regular and high-top tables, with bar-style seating by the window. The space is a little on the small side and gets loud when full. Doesn’t really have that calm chill vibe as a result. But maybe that’s not your vibe. Maybe an energetic social space is what you’re looking for. If so, look no more.

I REALLY hate leaving this, because I’m an avid advocate to small businesses. Especially in small towns. But, slowly this place is going down hill. Their pastries are stale and their coffees have become mediocre, at best. But, the straw that broke the camels back was how RUDE the staff was. I addressed that my chia latte was way too sweet and I got a smirk and a statement of, “chia is already sweet.” They didn’t offer to rectify it in anyway. This is also after I tipped $3 on top of the $8 latte. I could put up with the stale and old pastries and the mediocre coffee, BUT the blatant disrespect, I cannot. To say I’m disappointed doesn’t even cover it.
