I ordered from here 2/16/24. We ordered egg foo young and it was very dry! Sesame chicken with very little sauce and old broccoli, chicken fried rice that was barely seasoned. I’ve ordered multiple times and the food is normally great! Because of this I called and the manager yelled at me and told me that I should ask for extra sauce. Then told me to come back and bring the food and she would refund me. They were closing in 2 minutes and I told her I would come and she said were closed and hung up on me. I will never return or recommend this restaurant again. The worst service I have ever received.

This is the second time I order after a few years of not ordering from Jay’s wok and I am very disappointed. Both times I have ordered Shrimp plates they have been completely full of big onion and green peppers and only have 4-5 shrimps. The plate is literally all peppers and onions and their portions have gotten way smaller.

I live in the area but never had the chance to try Jay’s food. This is my second time going to Jay’s Wok and I must recognize that their food is tasty, not too salty, rice consistency great not smoosh or overcooked, vegetables are not overcooked as other places. Portion is perfect and price affordable. Is hard to find a good Chinese restaurant that I can order when in the appetite is for Chinese food. I am glad Jay’s Wok is nearby and I am proud to support local businesses of hard working individuals as this couple.

Struggling to find a Chinese/Cantonese restaurant worthy of the !!! Ever since Canton on ogden closed we have spent hundreds (if not more) on disappointing Chinese take-out!!! This place even has a note at the bottom that was insulting to add salt to the wound of! Inadequate quality to say the least! Food was inedible, tossed straight in the garbage!!! Overcooked almost everything! Gave us literal garbage! If i didnt have to drive 20-30 min to get there during rush hr traffic I would’ve dumped the food on their floor!!!

I was very pleasently surprised by my experience at Jay’s Wok in Westchester on Wolf Rd. in the Village Commons Shopping Center.
I ordered beef chop suey and Mongolian beef. Wow what a culinary delight, tender mouth watering beef and lots of it. Vegtables cooked to perfection not soft and mushy, excellant. Savory suce and gravy made this a wonderful meal.I also enjoyed the family atmosphere with the staff of Jay’s as the little ones did their homework, they were adorable.
This place is clean efficient and the staff friendly. I most ceartainly will return and highly recommend to others this unique culinary delight.
This is not your standard Chinese food , but a five star experience that I highly recommend to all. I will be back for more at Jay’s Wok.
I really wouldn’t listen to Rick Cavelerie or his reveiw as I had an excellent experience and nobody should trash a business on one experience its just not right. Some people just can’t be pleased no matter how hard one trys.

I ordered some veggie eggrolls.. 4 all together thinking nobody could mess up an eggroll… I was wrong! These were the driest and looked like it was only cabbage inside.. this was a new place I found but sadly I’ll never return.. DON’T GET THE EGGROLLS !
