Nice place to eat if you are stuck in the Destin airport. I appreciated it somewhere. They have sitdown service so you can relax. They also have a full bar with liquor, wine and beer. I had the cheeseburger with bacon and it was really quite good. It was made fresh and it was very tasty. I also had the old-fashioned and it was good as well. The restaurant was clean. The server was attentive and overall it was a good experience.

We waited for quite some time after sitting to get a menu because we did want something to eat but only drink menus were on the table.
No one acknowledged us so we just hung out for a bit reading our phones. Finally my husband got up to ask the bartender for a menu.
We shared a California Cobb salad and it was actually excellent. Great portions and very fresh with lots of well seasoned ingredients. Outstanding and outstanding Bloody Mary. M
Prices we insanely high. $21 for salad and $4.50 for a Diet Coke. It it’s the airport.
We weren’t checked up on while eating but after we finished we were asked if we needed anything else and the server was friendly. Slow to pick up the credit card as well so we had to go get her as we had a flight to catch. We also had to ask for a receipt of our bill as it was not given.
We would eat here again as it was delicious. Just know it is a bit slow for an airport restaurant.

We had a couple of hours until our flight leaving from Florida and decided to grab a bite from the Emerald Coast Bar & Grill. Located in the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS), FL, the restaurant is located after the security checkpoint (located to the side but within the gate area). It is situated in a highly-trafficked area for arriving travelers.
We were seated quickly and there was no wait. Our server was very friendly and helpful. I ordered a 202 oz draft 30A blond ale (local) and my wife ordered the Emerald Coast Cooler.
For lunch, I ordered the Bacon Ranch Chicken Quesadilla (comes with a side of sour cream). It came with tortilla chips and salsa and it was all very good. My wife ordered the Grilled Pesto Turkey Sandwich. She like it so much that she made it for the family a couple of days later. 🙂
Both of our meals were very good. I expected the prices would be much higher due to being in an airport, but everything was reasonably priced.

Honestly, this is the best airport bar I’ve ever been to. Staff is so friendly. Honestly. Crystal, Maddie and Daniel and Michelle top notch. The teamwork was off the chains. The customer experience blew my mind. Even the teamwork between the two restaurants that aren’t even really talking just knocking. This deserves recognition in so many areas because you have an opportunity to reach so many people with a great service in the airport and touch me live and these people are great here and they did that! They need raises and they need you to pay attention to what they’re doing to spread that joy and other places. This is what you consider best practice!

Pretty good food and the prices were okay too. Service was quick and friendly. Once you go through TSA you just stay on that floor and the entrance is there. I went upstairs and couldn’t find it. Thought it was only available before entering TSA. Had enough time to figure that part after I went somewhere else. Didn’t like it so went back downstairs to find out it was accessible. Google has pretty good reviews so I wanted to give it a try. Didn’t disappoint.

Fries were seasoned so HOT I couldn’t eat them. It does not say that on menu. The chicken strips were more like fried batter. Absolutely horrible food. I ate one French Fry and told the girl serving us they were to spicy. She just gave me a look and walked away. 45 bucks for my chicken strips and a chicken sandwich my husband got. Airport food is overpriced. But at least make it taste good.

Stupidly expensive drinks. I mistakenly ordered one drink each for my friend and myself in the server asked if we wanted to make it a double. I was not expecting that I was going to be double the price. I think I spent $45 for two not so great drinks. Will not do that again.

Service was ok. At an airport that isn’t the higher priority. Bar lady was on at talking table orders. Just got. Breakfast burritos pretty good. Salsa was like paste picante sausage, not made fresh. That would have been better. The prices were reasonable even for a small airport.
