Got a coffee like I usually do. Paid with a $20. Asked for five $1s back with my change. The cashier (a 60is year old woman who had just gotten sassy with the previous 2 customers) says “uh uh, I was just told we’re not handling them out” I asked her “Really? Ok.” Took my change. Got a $0.50 piece of candy and got back in line. She asked “didn’t I just see you?” I replied “ Yep, since you’re not handing out ones, I had to go get this piece of candy for $.50 so I can get the change from it.” She looked confused so I said “because you’re not handing out ones. “ she sucked her head back with attitude, got my change, put it in my hand with a very Karen smirk and a big old head tilt and said “and we’re still not.“ I looked at my hand and said “OK, well where’s the rest of my change?” She was so preoccupied with getting one over on me and having an attitude, she completely forgot she had already rung me up for the coffee I was holding and tried to ring me up for it again and gave me the incorrect change. When I pointed this out to her I didn’t get so much of a sorry, she sat there and stared at me for a couple seconds in disbelief then asked another employee to get me a refund. This is just one of many similar experiences I’ve had lately at Wawa. It’s no wonder they’ve fallen from the number one most popular convenience store in America. Ever since Covid their quality of food and Customer Service has gone downhill. Wouldn’t be surprised if in a few short years Sheetz completely overtakes them.

In the midst of a snowstorm I pulled off to fuel up and get some coffee.
Overheard worker complaining about the weather and that it was going to be a dud. People with real responsibilities pray that it will be a dud. We don’t want to lose time at work, risk our lives, have busted pipes or interrupted utilities. So yes. Please be a dud!
She was resting behind the counter against the equipment all the while to coffee pots are going empty.
Told her she was out of coffee and she asked me “which pot” young lady with no financial responsibilities, mortgage or child support. Please stop talking and do your job. At 5am with 5” of snow we are going to or coming from work, anxious, tired and frazzled. Please stay alert and stop talking nonsense to your coworkers.

Mold growing in bathroom toilet and sink out of order, that’s just the ladies bathroom! But that said it all. Used 1/2 gallon of sanitizer and left to get coffee elsewhere-8/28/25. To the person waiting for the DoorDash order of the Latino woman in the bathroom, I’m sorry if you got sick or developed a disease! I would not have done that as a Dasher myself.

Gas runs really good in cars, the time to get your car fueled is super fast. Staff are helpful with questions and concerns. Never had the food yet, but have heard good things and really want to try the pizza sometime.

This place is amazing. I came back to Wawa after they recently changed their reward system on the app. I was running late to my morning class and totally forgot I had ordered my drink but decided not to be late to class so I missed out that day on my free coffee. I went back just a few days later and had explained what happened and asked if they could remake my drink. After being told to the manager of the kitchen whose name I wish I’ve gotten he immediately remade it. It’s the little stuff like this that renews my faith in humanity. And as a student with a full time job this means so much especially on my exam day! He could have easily denied it and I would have to just have lived with that but he went above and beyond making sure I got what I had ordered and missed. The staff at this location is amazing and very friendly I don’t care what these other reviews might say. I will continue to go here as long as I’m in the area :))

Literally only stop I have going to work. Other locations are out of my way. Don’t expect to come here in early morning hours and get a breakfast sandwich. Never do they have any. Only the egg whites. Lunch time. Forget it.
