We’re a non-profit coffeehouse that operates with the idea that we should all expect more from our coffee, and our lives. We believe that even a local community coffee house can make an impact in our world. We seek to do so by serving people: both locally and abroad. Locally, we brew great coffee and provide a welcoming environment for community connection. We are open throughout the week and offer a quiet place to study and work, or, to just enjoy the company of a friend. We also host groups for meetings, meals, classes, and events. Cozy yet impressive space in this church basement. Very delicious coffee, ordered black Americano and it was perfect
There is a small shop in one corner, then a bakery area that has some delicious looking pastries, cookies, bagels and quiche. Also free popcorn which I did try
They do have food but I just tried the coffee this time. We will be back to try more another time for sure!

As the previous owner of a coffee shop, I am always on the hunt for good coffee everywhere I go. I moved to the Menomonie area about a year ago and this was one of the first places I tried.
Honestly, The Blind Munchies is in my top 2. It’s pretty hard to find good coffee here.
I can’t remember the exact name of the drink I ordered, but I know it had coconut and chocolate in it! I really, really loved it. The only issue was that ALL of the chocolate sat on the bottom and the last sip was 100% chocolate.
I’m not going to complain too much since I love chocolate, but I always made sure to stir every drink I ever made when I worked at my shop… it’s a pet peeve of mine, I guess.
I’m not sure if their indoor shop is open anymore, since every time I stop by nowadays they have their outdoor coffee trailer set up… but the photos are from a year ago when my partner and I were able to go inside.
If you’re in the Menomonie area, I highly recommend The Blind Munchies and Golden Leaf Café! They’re both great.

This seems like a very nice, quaint, clean and aesthetically pleasing. Almost romantic. Public Cafe. I really can’t give it high ratings because the proprietors under the impression that he’s exempt from allowing service dogs. So our visit was cut short after a cup of tea. Hopefully I can assist with policy change and give a better review after another more casual visit.
