Delicious food, great service! Tostones were great, my pulled pork and beans were very seasoned. Definitely get some of the sauce as well! Not a single bad thing about the food. Seating is a bit tight when it’s busy but they told us they were planning to expand soon. I hope they do and really hope they stick around for a long time! I’m already planning to come back to try more on the menu.

OK. Why have I not heard of this place in the past 8 months?? I’ve lived in NKY for 30 years! I was sad when Amador closed last summer but now I’m giddy again!
We arrived there last night around 630pm after running a few errands. The food was delicious and well prepared. As many Puerto Ricans do we are our own food critics. However, a huge “WEPA!” to the cook and to the staff. Its small but very cozy and very well decorated establishment. Once the weather turns warm the patio will be fun to visit. El “bembe” can begin! Their video screen was not on so prices were not displayed and the menus didn’t have them either. Kind of strange, right? However, its a minor thing to be honest. The flavors, smells and sounds were enjoyable. I smelled like rice & bean all the home! My wife had the “camarones al ajillo” and I had the “campesino?”. (See pics). Both were delicious. I have not been here for breakfast or lunch but it will be on my short list to visit with my Americano friends.
Prices were a bit high but we know its not cheap to get some of the ingredients to make our traditional foods. So, if you are looking for a spot to eat with lots of flavor or “sabor” with entrees and items that bring back memories of growing up in Borinquen or if you want to try something new, then this is the place for you. If not, then I suggest you go to McDonalds….

Went today for the very first time after looking forever for a Puerto Rican restaurant and I would say it was simply tasteful. The staff was amazing and it’s a definite. I will be back ASAP as they’re expanding. I wish them the very, very best may their business prosper and multiply.

I had the Chuletas with rice and beans and a side of tostones. BEST TOSTONES ever. Edwincito was so pleasant and welcoming. It felt like going to a friend’s for dinner. Will be back when I come back into town!

I can’t say enough good things about Mi Rincón in Florence. My mother and I had been craving authentic Puerto Rican food, and living in Edgewood, we usually had to make the trip to Cincinnati to find anything close. But today, we discovered this amazing spot—and it was like walking into a warm memory of home.
From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with the welcoming smiles of Carla and her family. The ambiance, the smells, the music, the flavors—it all reminded me of how my mom and grandmother used to cook. It felt like a piece of Puerto Rico right here in Northern Kentucky.
My mom had pernil with arroz con habichuelas (pork shoulder with rice and beans), and I had the shrimp mofongo, which was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. For dessert, I enjoyed a smooth, creamy coconut flan, and we washed it all down with a Malta India and a refreshing watermelon drink. Every single thing we ate was spot on.
We stayed for a couple of hours, just enjoying the space, the company, and the food. The patio is lovely, the service is genuine, and the love they put into their food is obvious in every bite.
Mi Rincón is definitely going to be our new go-to spot—for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a quick treat. If you’re looking for authentic Puerto Rican cuisine with soul, flavor, and heart, look no further.

Stopped in for breakfast at Mi Rincon and was pleasantly surprised. The breakfast specials were delicious and we tried the flan tres leche cake, which was equally delicious. The restaurant is absolutely charming and we’re excited to go back soon!
