I hate to say it because it’s a local/small business, but this place was a rip off. $16 for an adult for their all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet and the food is flavorless and lukewarm at best. Came in at 9:30 and they were nearly completely out of breakfast food. What was left was nearly stone cold. They don’t season their food at all. Eggs are dry and flavorless. No salt, no pepper, nothing. The bread for their French toast was hard as a rock. Nothing is homemade. It’s all made from the freezer. The tables, plates, and cups were dirty. Overall I couldn’t believe this place charged nearly $20 per person after you include a cup of coffee. Truly the worst value for breakfast in town. I can get the same thing I’d eat here at The Forum for half the price AND it’s made fresh. They have no air conditioning and it was roasting, they’re understaffed so the waitress never checked on us for refills. Just an all around poor experience and we will not go back.

This quaint little diner in Crawfordsville was fun to visit. They offer very affordable prices and cute atmosphere. There is a salad bar for lunch but we did not try it. The food came out fast, was hot, and exactly as ordered. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs and had great customer service. We have no complaints and loved our visit.

Came in around 1230. Server was nice and had a friendly greeting. Asked what I’d like to drink. Went with water but they do serve pepsi products including sweet and unsweetened tea. Brought me a menu. The menu isn’t extensive but has a lot of great choices. Informed her this was my 1st time and asked her questions. If you get an all you can eat salad bar it’s 9.99. AL carte ( one trip) 6.99 and if you get it with a sandwich, 3.99 all you can eat (Good luck lol)
I ordered a mushrooms and Swiss with fries. After I got my 1st plate of salad. The bar is small, but has a few great selections! After a short wait, the sandwich came out. It was really delicious, even better than Hardee’s!
If you’re looking for a great breakfast or lunch, this is the place! Just remember they are open 7am to 2pm!

The waitress was super nice and accommodating! Food was great it was pretty empty not completely sure why maybe the set up inside? That was only only thing I could think of. Plain jane needs a remodel changing table wouldn’t stay up in the women’s bathroom. ( i was there with my 4 month old) but we got our food super fast! And the service was awesome just the decor and bathrooms need updating for sure

My husband and I stopped in for the first time for breakfast. I got the meat omlette, which was very good. Hashbrowns were okay. My toast was more like a 5 grain, and it was very good. Large pieces of bread. The atmosphere was different. It was clean, but a lot of the overhead lights were not working and not on, so it was dark in there. It was also chilly. Our server was sweet and efficient. I only saw one server working. We didn’t wait long at all for our food. My breakfast was 11 dollars. My husband got the haystack. The gravy was not homemade, but he cleaned up his plate. His breakfast was 10 or 11 dollars as well. Coffee was average. They had a salad bar for lunch so we may go back to try that. An average little place with decent food.

Honestly I don’t know about the food. we ordered and then I attempted to use the bathroom and it was so horrendously dirty, with no soap no paper towels, no toilet paper and what appeared to be 2 or 3 weeks worth of trash overflowing the trash can. I feared hepatitis or worse in such a filthy establishment that we left before they could serve what we ordered

This is a nice, albeit a generic little diner. The salad bar was extremely fresh. The mushroom burger that my daughter had looked fantastic.
The service, even on eclipse day, was fantastic from waitress “Snapdragon.” Sorry we didn’t catch your name we’re normally better about that.
The only thing that didn’t send this to five stars was that the potato chips came out of bag, salad dressing out of the shelf, but it’s a good solid place that is very affordable.
