This was the best pizza I had on this island. Overall, the food on Mackinac island is average. Nothing amazing, but we ordered the Greek and Cheese pizza and it was so good I forgot to take photos before we dug in. It was the best meal I had that weekend. The staff members were also friendly and welcoming. I have bookmarked this spot to definitely return to. The crust was my favorite part bc of the cheese being a little crispy and crunchy. The space was also spacious, we were a party of 7 and they were able to accommodate us.

Reason for the 4 star review- we ordered 2 half pizzas for lunch ($17) each. The Greek and mushroom pizzas were great AFTER we requested to remove the lemon zest and subbed it with the truffle honey drizzle (which elevated the pizzas to 4.5 stars). Please remove the lemon zest permanently – doesn’t belong on a pizza. The person at the counter was friendly but she tried to charge me $10 surcharge for the substitution. I was annoyed because the only other pizza that they sold with the honey was only $2 extra. But I didn’t even order meat on my pizza and thought the surcharge was excessive. Finally she agreed. Additionally, I stood in line and it took me 10-15 minutes just to order because the 2 groups ahead of me were requesting some sort of discount which they had to find a manager for and also had questions about the wine. There should have been another person to assist because there was a lunch rush and it was taking so long for everything.
Finally, the Caesar Salad was in a small prepackaged container and it was $12 dollars. Wasn’t worth it. Place seemed pretty small for the amount of people that were there and the utensils and pizza pans were overpiled in the self cleanup area with no one going around to wipe the tables down.

Delicious cheesy crusty dough! We were looking for a Michigan signature food and we’re delighted! The service was great! Great decor! They only serve 1/2 pizzas until 5, so we got a whole for me and my husband. I am not mad about eating cold pizza for breakfast tomorrow morning!

I recently visited a pizza place that has gained some attention for its flavor, but my experience was mixed. While the pizza was tasty and had a good texture, I couldn’t ignore some significant drawbacks. They pre-cook their crusts in the morning, which, while efficient, means the dough isn’t freshly made for each order. The result is still flavorful but lacks the freshness you’d expect for the price.

Speaking of price, this was by far the most expensive pizza I’ve ever had. A small pizza and a few breadsticks set us back over $50, not including drinks. For that cost, I expected larger portions or a truly exceptional experience, but neither was the case. Compared to other options, like Jets or even the local Jamaican restaurant, the value just wasn’t there.

The restaurant itself is clean and has a newer feel, but the atmosphere was stifling. It was uncomfortably hot inside, and the staff, while not rude, were distant and didn’t seem very welcoming. It’s the kind of service you sometimes get on the island, so I wasn’t entirely surprised, but it didn’t add to the experience.

Overall, while the pizza was enjoyable, the combination of high prices, small portions, and lackluster service makes it hard to justify coming back. There are better options nearby where you get more food, better service, and a more satisfying experience for your money.

My husband and I spent the day on the Island Oct 26, unbeknownst to us the day before much of the Island/Grand Hotel, etc closed for the season. We happened upon this restaurant after spending a few hours rocking on the most gorgeous porch enjoying the most spectacular views of two of the Great Lakes. While not cheap, the pizza was EXCELLENT. I had the greek pizza and it was absolutely delicious. Good quality ingredients, great flavor. My husband got the Supreme and enjoyed it as well (although due to it being the last day before they closed, they were out of a few ingredients for his pizza. They offered to add some other items in lieu which was appreciated). The cashier who took our order was very nice and we didn’t have to wait long for our meal. Would highly recommend.

The cashier was friendly nice, but our group of seven did not feel welcomed. The blonde staff member was neither courteous nor respectful, the table was not clean, and when asked to clean it, she did so in an unfriendly manner. Her response to a request for an extra plate was also unprofessional, which made the overall experience disappointing.

We had a veggie pizza and pepperoni, both were delicious and filling for a family of 6. The Togo boxes along with plates and silverware were easy to find. Seating was a mix of tables and bar top. We chose the bar top and the kids enjoyed it.

Very good Detroit-style pizza. The crust was perfectly crispy and there were plenty of toppings.

The salad was pre-made but a good size and flavor. The frozen lemonade twist was also very good.

Employees were very friendly and food arrived as quickly as promised.
