I wish I read the reviews first. The food was overpriced for what you got, when we finished our large burger that was not big at all, We ordered a chocolate milkshake which tasted like the cheapest chocolate ice cream you can buy with some milk, when we finished I went to pay for the food where the sign said Pay Here I stood there and the lady started yelling from inside saying she was waiting on me on the other side of the sign which looks like a place for only people that work there to go her attitude was terrible she looked like she weighed 400 pounds at least and the only interest she had was talking to her regular customer. If you are just passing by this is not a place you would want to go. Waitress seemed pretty nice and the people inside were very country-folk and seem Pleasant. If it wasn’t for the overpriced food and then for the lady getting an attitude when it was time to pay it would have been okay.

We we’re a family of 5 eating buffet since nobody brought us a menu. The food was extremely salty, employees setting out food weren’t wearing gloves, they had a washup station right under buffet ledge that splashed water up on food items, employees chewing/eating while stocking the buffet, had to walk thru kitchen prep area to pay ticket, no inside bathroom. Definitely won’t be returning.

Great food but always the same things on the buffet. Fried chicken, fried pork chops and fried fish. They actually had baked chicken the last time I was there so hopefully they will start having a better variety. All in all it’s a good place to eat.

We saw the buffet and asked if they had any mullet. Our server, Rebecca, said not on the buffet, but she could ask if Summer would cook some up for us. She did, and it was very good. We also liked the coleslaw, greens, okra, and pumpkin pie. Very friendly and attentive staff!

The owner was very rude to me and my husband ,giving snarky remarks, saying we’ll when are you leaving in a rude manner and when I said we had planned on a week she shook her head rolled her eyes and walked off. When my husband spoke to her she raised the price of what we were quoted and said she would only take cash up front. My husband then told her we would find somewhere else to stay and then she said you got my money . Then when we were packing up to leave she banged on the door and said, you need to get out. Just not a very nice person. I will never go there again.

GREAT Southern cooking on the buffet! Catfish nuggets and fried chicken seasoned and cooked to perfection. Everything was wonderful. Drink included. The owner is very nice. Cozy country family atmosphere. Like a good family reunion with great food.
