Really good Chinese food and I’m always veryyy picky about spots. got me a roast pork with string beans and garlic sauce nice portion ratio between meal and rice. also got fried dumplings they are absolutely delicious very generous on the filling nice flavor and seasoning and the dipping sauce it comes with is nice and flavorful

Looking for a change in ordering Chinese food and was very happy with this restaurant. Their hot and sour soup was so flavorful. Just the right amount of hot and seasoned perfectly. The chicken chow mein was delicious with lots of chicken and a wonderful sauce. The pork fried rice also was nicely prepared with excellent flavors. Even their egg rolls were nice and crispy without being greasy. Will be adding the China Pavilion to our list of takeout locations.

We ordered from here for the first time tonight and we were not disappointed! We got beef and broccoli, general Tso’s chicken, pork loin mein, and wonton soup. The food was prepared fresh and had great flavor. The lo mein was especially delicious, super garlicky. I know we’re not talking about anything super gourmet but as far as Chinese takeout goes it was very good. Would definitely order from here again. Fwiw, the restaurant looks very clean and the people working there were very pleasant. AND!!! You can order online. Big win for me.

First time coming here and last. We ordered two different combo platters and they were both drenched in what tasted like BBQ sauce. Not what we expected and ended up throwing them both out after trying to stomach a few bites.

The food here overall is average. Many dishes are “hit and miss.” Stay away from the dumpling appetizers (too doughy) and the spring rolls are always undercooked and never crispy.
The Moo-Shu dishes are so-so and the beef and broccoli doesn’t have much flavor or fresh, crunchy florets. And forget about asking for anything hot & spicy because they will ignore your request.
However, the portions are a good size, prices are reasonable, and the parking is easy.

I am an generally an extremely picky eater and can be very critical.. This place is terrific; their wontons are excellent. I work nearby so we order from them about twice a week and the others in my office agree they are the best around. The prices are fantastic, too. Highly recommend to friends and family.
I do miss the option to order online, but it’s easy enough to call to place an order.

Just had this for first time and I thought I’ve tried every takeout Chinese spot in our area but wow!!! First bite I immediately could tell the difference with the quality of ingredients. We got General Tsos, Chicken w/garlic sauce, and beef w/garlic sauce too. The rice quality was much different than others. Not like eating plastic lol believe me I know my rice (I’m filipino) I also realized I didn’t go to the bathroom immediately hahaha good job China Pavillion, highly recommend!!!

I tried a few things and everything was fresh and really good. The wonton soup, the dumplings are delicious! The spare ribs on the bone, delicious. Shrimp with veggies, delicious with jumbo shrimp and an ample amount of veggies.
I’ve eaten at other high rated places in the Denville area and the food has gone down hill and is not fresh. I found a piece of steel wool in a chicken dish! I’m glad I found this place for when I want some good quality Chinese food.
