Was totally surprised by this place. The food here has been solid. The eggrolls are the . They are phat, kinda oval shaped and full. You would have never thought from the look of it. I have been there and never seen other patrons. Never heard any noise from the kitchen. Usually the children are out front handing out the orders. Im not from the area but people have said its been there forever. They must do hella online orders. ‍♂️ Give this place .

Absolutely delicious food and a fantastic experience overall. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The fried rice was perfectly seasoned, the empress lo mein noodles were cooked just right, and the Kung Pao Chicken was packed with tender protein and fresh vegetables. You can really tell they take pride in their cooking.
The pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you get; great value for the money. On top of that, the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive when placing our order, which made the experience even better.
If you’re looking for consistently great Cantonese-style food in Metairie, this place is a must-try. We’ll definitely be back!

Finally tried this place instead of our normal spot hot wok. The portions are HUGE and that’s really nice, however our fried rice tasted like absolutely nothing ans that was majority of the box in our combos. We ended up with about 4 pounds of fried rice left over that we didn’t eat because it was just SO bland even with soy sauce. The meat was good though and we would choose a meat only option if we ever went back. Was actually super super disappointing given the reviews of this place. Doubt we’ll ever be going back

First of all, the place has been just taken over by a former chef of 10 years from 5 Haphineses Chinese restaurant in New Orleans. This is basically a takeout establishment, though there are a few tables to eat on from take out boxes only. No waitresses. This is a family-run establishment, using the same recipes from the former owner, according to the new owner. There’s no A/C at present, and according to the daughter, whom works counter, it’s been broken for a year. She told me that the renters are liable for such repairs. I sat alone at one of the tables to eat my order with only a fan running and the entrance door opened. It wasn’t that bad, however, but had I known ahead of time I would have taken it to go. Anyways, I ordered the shrimp and lobster sauce combo which includes combo fried rice and egg roll. The egg roll was large and filled with noticeable shrimp and other fillings, and it was above average. Freshly prepared, not sitting under heat lamp, evidenced by its crispy outside casing. The fried rice looked better than it tasted, but a little soy sauce and sesame seed oil and it would be a hit. The the shrimp and lobster sauce is one of the best I have ever had, very flavorful with enough shrimp to top it off. Both the owner and his wife are very pleasant, and I met the younger children who seemed well mannered.

I called it in and was told that they just took over the previous business and did a ton of cleaning in the kitchen. The young lady in the phone was polite and kind to ask me to give them a try. So i stopped by and ordered a bourbon chicken. The young lady was so happy and excited that i actually stopped by. She offered me a free bottle drink and also a handful of candies. And the bourbon chicken was just amazingly Yummy. The candies Yummy too. Great service and food. Definitely will come back to try their other dishes.

The food is very inconsistent. I ordered the hot garlic shrimp and besides it being too sweet, the vegetables were mostly hard large cuts of broccoli and only 2 carrots slices and 5 onion pieces. It did have sufficient amount of shrimp. The egg roll was good.

Let me just say I have tried at least a half dozen Chinese restaurants in the Metairie/Kenner area and this is by far THE BEST. I got the Kung Pao chicken with Cho Cho (shrimp filled wontons) as the side and a small hot and sour soup. Everything was hot and fresh, great flavor all around. I recommended the Cho Cho too if you like shrimp. To top it all off, the service was 10/10, very nice and friendly. Can’t imagine myself getting Chinese take out anywhere but here for the foreseeable future.

Piping hot under 30 mins with decent pricing great proportions and did I mention delivery!!!!
Such a great choice I read the reviews and by golly they wasn’t lying! The food was so good General Tao spicy ️ the broccoli wasn’t wilted hello I’m talking fresh !!! Okaayyyy. The combo rice was really good flavor along with the crab Rangoon… now let me tell you they forgot the sauce but who cares that’s how good it is. Great job you guys! Thank you first time customer I will be back.

This Restaurant is the Bomb, great portions and fantastic flavors. I do believe they made the egg rolls by hand! Worth every penny spent and more… by far a superior product!! Thank you very much!!! 10 stars for these guys!!!
